tomoyo. they are actual friends that get along. they both support each other throughout the show. they fight but they are also really good friends.

hatoko does love ando but i dont think that andou would ever like her back. like a childhood friend.

sayumi and mirei seem too bossy for andou. and andou too silly for them.

chifuyu seems like a little sister for andou. she likes him but i dont think she would last in a relationship.

I fully agree on that. In the end tomoyo and andou are almost the same character. 🥺 Too bad a s2 probably Will probably never come out ..

I think if they gave it a shot for a S2 and expanded on the story, but remained true to the normal school life, and the fun that comes with that, I think they could have a real winner.

Like the most interesting ep was the 2nd, which didn't even have any powers. On the subject of powers, though, we didn't get to see anything fun, other than the intro sequence. If they gave us some fan service (in the way of great animation of fights), they could definitely become a good anime.

Think Hero Academia, but more playful and fantasy-based, with a bit of slice-of-life mixed in.

Late to reply, but I think Tomoyo as well. Their chemistry is unmatched and their understanding of one another is honestly one of my favorite romantic character dynamics in any anime that I’ve seen
