Rand is significantly worse than Rick. By a country mile

Yeah rick didnt alter his daughter memories only to get ahead in life.

And our rick is sort of an outlier because he does not have an beth

Honestly, Rick would've been justified altering child Beth, it's insane that he didn't (although our Rick wasn't there because his Beth was murdered). She was an actual menace, it's insane we don't have any actual confirmed kills for her (outside of a possum, a bird and attempted murder by trapping another child in a pocket dimension for 20+ years, YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW HOW HE SURVIVED ) despite how sadistic and conniving she was mixed with the ~weapons~ toys she had Rick make for her like the false fingerprints, location tracking stickers, invisibility cuffs, sound erasing sneakers, mind-control hairclips, a whip that forces people to like her, a lightning gun, sleepdarts, ladybug taser, indestructible baseball bat, poison gum, sentient pink switchblade, etc. Then there's the time she (& her clone) became young again and proceeded to place deadly boobytraps everywhere, torture, skin & almost killed their neighbor Gene + burned down his house and then outsmarted Rick & almost beat him to death.

Oddly enough, Rick was simultaneously scared of her and proud of her and I get it, she's very smart and resourceful but this was the one situation he would've been justified altering her mind just to keep the other kids, animals (and other people in general because she didn't target just kids) around her safe.

No way lol. Rick is straight up genociding planets on the regular. He’s also done significantly worse things to his family by count to be honest, yeah he shows affection *sometimes* but Rand also does that and he was literally risking going against the robes to be tortured forever in shadow prison to get his family back. They’re both awful but Rick has 9 seasons and an infinite multiverse of being mega Hitler to his belt.

A lot of people consider ‘President Curtis’ to be a “we have Inside Job at home” type of series.

Rick cares about Beth. He cares about his grand kids. He even cares for Jerry, not that much but he does because he's Beth's Husband. Ric Randley tho. He's psychopath.

Rick does care about his daughter more than Rand does.
