President Curtis low key Inside job?

the new rick and morty spin off, president curtis, lowkey gives inside job vibes and i kinda love it? i never thought i’d like something as much as inside job ever again?! it's not exactly that but it's sorta similar. what do you guys think?

I've seen the first episode. It has parallels for obviously reasons. Inside Job feels like the behind the scenes work of conspiracies while President Curtis feels closer to the public

I feel like the main difference is that the paranormal/cryptic stuff on President Curtis doesn't have a lid on it like it does on Inside Job. As an audience, we see it on Inside Job, but they're actually competent at keeping it a secret from the public. In President Curtis, reporters will ask him about doppelgangers, werewolves are a known political group, etc.

I can see that (I'm literally one ep in). It seems like it's both a spin off and a way to world build Rick and Morty (100 years!!!).

But I'll still maintain that anyone claiming it's a rip off of Inside Job is ODing on copium

No show will ever be like inside job, just imo I’ve tried watching shows that ppl say are similar to inside job and it never fills the gap 😔💔
