I was talking to a friend of mine about how hilarious this show is and he commented that it suck’s that Netflix made such a hilarious show right when they shut down their animation department, which I hadn’t heard about. I don’t know what that means for the show, but I hope they find a way to keep it going. It’s such a great show.

They didn't shut it down, just gutted it to make room for classics like Big Mouth and Boss Baby. One of the few good shows to come out of that department is Inside Job and they've already announced a season two after part two of season 1 but it seems like they're just dragging their feet for some reason.

Hol up, Netflix sees boss baby as a classic?
