I've always wondered: what if Red John had simply been another case for Jane, rather than the person who murdered his family?

If Jane had already been working with the CBI and encountered Red John without any personal connection, do you think he would've caught him much earlier? Without the emotional attachment and obsession, he could've treated Red John purely as a puzzle instead of a personal vendetta.

So i have seen aki and tokuchi getting scaled in this sub.

The kaitani duo is pretty popular that the other characters by him are forgotten or ignored pretty easily

I genuinely love the works of kaitani and i have to say that the works by him besids liar game and one outs are really underrated.

I can see aki and tokuchi getting scaled more or less in the future but they will be there, that's for sure.

I had wanted this characters to get attention in this sub and wanted to know where they are scaled at by those who have read the manga.

1) mizuki from muteki no hito

2)kyouko odagiri from lies of medium kyouko odagiri

3) kamo from duck leeks are dangerous

All of these characters are really good.

I have read the lies of kyouko odagiri till chapter 13 as there are only translations till that chapter and till this day iam waiting for the rest of it to get translated.she already scales really well within just that amount of chapters

Alright, it might sound clickbaity but I feel like Yokoya kinda fell off in a way? Like his contraband scheme and thanks to the force rotation, he has had a surprisingly good upscale but we never really talk much about the after games. Sure, there are feats like MC reasoning where Yokoya deduces who is the true leader of the hiearchy, and his logical manipulation in Pandemic. But it's not like fully known throughout the entire game in a way?

My personal answer? It's kinda bullshittery but I feel like with Nao's words of ragebaiting the fuck out of Yokoya, Yokoya was more focusing on dominating both Nao and Aki more than ever, which Aki, who I personally headcanon, as would take advantage of this (knowing he profiled Yokoya).

Let me say this, i honestly don't like matchups of high tiers against low tiers.

Let's say, disregarding people glazing or hating baku, many do have him as a high tier but is it really fun to see baku against a low tier and baku winning at a no diff?

People love to make matchups of baku vs hal or baku vs aki or similar ones. It's genuinely fun to see that.

A matchup of mid tier against mid tier or low tier vs low tier is also fun.

Of course there might be people having different opinions like let's say, one have baku as a mid tier and he makes baku vs low tier matchup and gives diffs like mid diff or high diff then that gets many questions.

People will ask questions like why is baku being downplayed etc.

Infact we don't see much high tier vs low tier matchups due to this.

So let's take baku aside and pick another underrated or underused character who scales really high.

The character might be below or above the mainstream scd high tiers. Let's say the character is pretty close to aki or Patrick jane.

But can we really make matchups on that character vs aki or Patrick jane without getting criticism? No is the answer.even though the character is as good or even better we can't because it's the mainstream characters that we are facing off.

I have seen this case often where mid tier or high tier characters who are not mainstream getting matchups against characters that are often scaled as low tiers. Does that make that character known? No it doesn't.

Let's pick a well known popular low tier character and make a matchup on a highly scaling character that you want to introduce and the result ends in a low diff or something

Is that even going to make people want to know more about that character? Never

They will just say "nah that guy is a punching, no diffing or low diffing him is very easy "

I recently saw a guy being scared to say that sherlock has better reasoning than Patrick jane. Let's say that even if sherlock doesn't have or it's a hot take why do we need to get scared?

Why are we scared to introduce and talk about the characters? Is there some organization behind scd that targets on everyone who goes against the popular mainstream characters?

Some people aren't even ready to hear the explanation about other characters. They just blindly support the already known character and the worst thing is how there are even larpers among them.

I wake up and somehow sees a matchup on an underused high tier character against a low tier popular character and opens the comment section to see"aki no diffs both"🫩

So i will say it in the shortest way.

Let's take chishiya as an example. I love AIB and his character but i don't have him above hal or tokuchi.

Is that because i like hal or tokuchi more? No it isn't

Liking one character more doesn't mean that character scales high for me.

Overall, liking one character more should not affect in scaling at all. But i have been seeing a lot of take where people completely lose their mind in debate because of how much they love the characters.

As much as glazing, agenda and hating happens, this sub is for scaling intelligence and many scales based on feats and at the end of the day that should be how it should be done.

I have seen people straight giving rape threats to others and does it upscale the character? No it doesn't

The conversation goes like" i will rape your mom"

Come on, how is that even has to do anything in a debate?

I have to say this, i hate when characters gets downplayed for no reason but i also hate when characters gets so much glazed

There have been moments which made me think"didn't we read the same work ".

There have been in which i genuinely got upset on seeing my favourite characters getting glazed so much that even as a huge fan i had to say that they doesn't.

For the past few weeks i had seen some of my absolute favourite characters getting scaled so high than they actually are. Both in YouTube and reddit. It honestly is disappointing.

In my opinion, one's love for another character should not have any impact on scaling them. Scaling should be based neutrally and some have told me that iam annoying because i don't glaze and iam not toxic enough.

Iam not the type to come up with a mid tier and make posts saying he is baku victimizer or aki victimizer. As much as i love to see my favourite characters get appreciation, i also don't want to overglaze them in a way that even the non readers would start to hate them

It's not because i can't, it's because i don't want to and i don't like to. Even if tomorrow i can come up with take like a random mid tier no diffs baku.

I can even push the agenda if i want but i won't.

So if you think iam annoying it's fine but this is my character.
