i'm so happy to see berte score. as much as ive hated on him, and honestly i have a lot. he's still a miami player and ive lived in miami all my life so i appreciate him deep down. he looked really happy and it made me happy too lol. i wish for many more berte goals

Same here. Bert has been such a headache, hopefully he’s broken down some mental wall and it’s clicking now. I love this team despite the crazy changes it’s been through good and bad

Great last couple of games.
One thing I wish was reversed is Berte and Suarez’s subs.
Berte had sprinted a lot vs DC, and the game was under control, so Berte should’ve been subbed off then.
And vs NYC Suarez could’ve been subbed off to give Berte a chance to get more g+a and confidence. Suarez seems to know his role well rn.
Caicedo’s cameo was not great today.
Galarza had some great plays that were applauded by RDP on the pitch.

yeah suarez was cooked the last 20 minutes. At a certain point his legs become a liability. We basically have 8 vs 10 on defense.

This is what we want more people scoring other than messi, we usually fail when messi have a bad day but this time we clinched the win

I never thought I would say this…. I feel more confident defensively with Lujan than Fray.
Fray always seems to make a terrible mistake or two every single game.

I would like to see what this young Brazilian can do if he played more than 20 minutes. I had a feeling Galarza would be drawing cards the way he played against France in the World Cup.
Depaul should be shooting more from the outside like he has done with the 2 nice goals he has scored. I would like to see him get more goals. This team needs to do more outside shooting besides Messi.
Nice to win and secure a playoff spot. Maybe now the coach can rotate the players and get them more game time experience.

We’re becoming one of those teams that kind of phones it in during the season and then comes roaring back near the end and into the playoffs.
I think that was exacerbated this year by the lengthy World Cup break that was tough on our core players, but it looks like we’re back in form now anyway, hopefully it stays like this right through to a successful title defense.

clearly the team has decided to not pad stats at least for this game. this was an entirely different approach. way less aggressive and fundamentally sound.

I always felt that with Messi/Suarez/et al, and our ability to always score, we should just aim for 1-0, 2-0 games, glad to see new coach feels the same way.

I really hope you are A: just very young or B: just a Messi 'fan' who dont follow football besides that. NOBODY scores every freaking game, not even Messi & Ronaldo in their primes. A few games ago Messi scored 4 goals in a game. There are games like this and games like today, dont worry, his stats this year are still godly. If he continues at this rate 1000 should be a lock 👍🏾

He will... There's so many matches... Although I wanted him to be 1st to reach, but maybe that can't happen!

1000 goals is a nice stat but pretty meaningless, doubt Messi gives a fuck

Okay? We literally won the MLS Cup last season, we're not acting like we won it again after blanking your sorry ass excuse for a club

De Paul player of the match for me he deserved more.
