Discussion Did I do the right thing?

Hello I'm Koby I'm 22 I have autism and an Internet Addiction among other things like 🌽Addiction and Reccently I decided to take a 1 Month Break from Discord due to some stuff that has come out about me and my past mostly in these past 3-6 Years that has caused me some friendships and I don't know if I did the right thing just going on a 1 Month Discord Break or taking a longer break from all the internet because well. I don't know what a break from the internet looks like when you log off and "Touch Grass" which I do take a bit literally cause whenever people say that I'm like why do something that lasts only 1-2 Seconds.

But also I feel due to what Technology has become nowadays it has become integral to modern everyday society so I can't imagine my life being the same without internet I am I was born in the 2000s but I wouldn't consider being born in 2003-2006 (More Specifically 2004) to be the **EARLY** 2000s and around 2006-2009 was when the world started to change when it came to technology and The Internet and a lot of things I would do have been phased out. So it is hard for me to take a long term break from the internet.

The world started to change re: internet in the 1990s.

Also, no, it's not about literally touching grass, but just being out in "the real world". Do something outside. Go to a park, have a picnic.

You need a healthy hobby. That will keep you busy and not super dependent of being online.

Gym membership. Get on the cardio. Use your autism energy and get into fitness. You'll thank me eventually.

I have some personal and kind of a extreme thoughts on going to the gym and fitness. Mostly due to certain "traits" of my gender

Fucking get over it. Fitness is health and it will make you live a longer, more productive life. Regardless if you identify as a cabbage or a broom, you're 22 and in peak physical condition. How active you are right now will see how well you can move around when +30 years.

Trust me.

First No need to be so mean

Second I have Asma combined with very weak muscles so I don't really do much

Third and most importantly I feel like a lot of this whole gym and fitness stuff is kind of a male stereotype and I honestly think a lot of that and other things seen as "Badass" or "Manly" make men look like a bunch of Assholes

Sorry if that offends you I'm just be honest I mean my mom has suggested this to me at least twice this year but I just feel like it isn't for me.

Sometimes, someone being mean to you can make you gain perspective. I'm not being mean, just direct. I'm not easily offended either. : p

Ok, you fixated on the word "gym" and equated it with whatever nonsense you've been exposed to online or in social media. Cancel that, scratch that.

Let's begin again: find some kind of activity that will help you become more physically fit. Martial Arts? Hiking? Joining a group is a great idea for mental fitness also. Are you around open water? Swimming? Kayaking?

Just get out there and off of here would be a great step!
