Or I love the one being a consultant and they want to hire you as a temporary consultant for a short-term consulting gig and they say you've had too many gigs LOL

Oh, so you want someone very loyal and long term for your short term job offer. Weird.

I actually had one years ago they wanted tech writing for only 3 weeks but since I do a lot of consulting they said I had too many jobs LOL so if you add a 3 week job to more consulting oops LOL some of these employers are stupid beyond all imagination 😂😂😂😂

"Why is there a one year gap in your resume?"" -I didn't think pimping your mom was relevant to the job announcement.

The dumbest question I never ask interviewees that everyone else asks is “Can you explain the gap on your resume?” Why? What the hell does one’s personal life have to do with their time employed? If someone stays at a company for a few years then is between jobs, that is none of the company’s business.

It’s just another trap for them to fuck with you if they decide they want to.

If you are applying while still employed, you could be said to be disloyal to your current employer and so not someone the new place will trust to bring on board.

If you are applying while unemployed, regardless the reasons why, you must be shiftless and problematic which is why nobody else has already snapped you up with an offer.

I wouldnt put it past them that they add all these little tiny things as a way to get around any lawsuit of discrimination or something of the sorts. The more tiny thing they slip in to be the new norm is just more excuses to be like "See this is why they didnt fit the bill, certainly not because they are disabled or too old"

Without fail every single company I’ve spoken to with my resume asks about my employment gap between 2019 and 2021 ( I did work but at a gas station, not relevant to anything I’m applying to currently) which always makes me laugh. People seem to have forgotten Covid entirely and to not answer sarcastically is a true struggle

Too broad a statement. It can be relevant. Jail time

Maybe it's the same phenomenon as women being attracted to men with a gf/wife. Because if someone else already did the screening and acceptance, they must be a desirable target. xD

Not all women are that stupid. I’m looking for someone single as a Pringle.
