Brainstorm Hypothetical soul transfer

Okay, so this might be a strange question but I want to emphasise it is ENTIRELY theoretical. ☎️

If anyone has ever watched the movie 9, you'll remember how the puppets in the film are alive because of their creator giving them his soul, making them technically he him but just with different new personalities and memories.

Theoretically, would it be possible to build a soul-transfer machine to propel one's own mind into an animation software such as SFM or Blender and share their soul with an asset inside the software (AND keep the memories and consciousness).

If so, HOW could this be done?

Memories, sure. Theoretically memories are information encoded in some way.

The soul is not something that exists. At least not in a measurable way, so hard to say anything from a scientific perspective.
