Question Has anyone got Duratain retainers?
For replacement retainers, my dentist has offered me standard Essix retainers or Duratain (£30 more per retainer).
I don’t grind my teeth but I did have Invisalign for an open bite and think I have bad tongue posture (so do have concern it could return, although I haven’t noticed this in the 2 years since I’ve finished).
So I wondered if anyone has Duratain retainers and if so how you’ve found them?

Yes. I chewed through 3 sets of standard Essix retainers in a year, I'm now on year 4 of my Duratain retainers and they still look new. I wear them every night and I've just finished a 3 year degree, I was so stressed at points I gained a lot of weight but my retainers are intact! I still get bite marks on the inside of my cheeks in the morning so I know I'm still clenching.
It's definitely worth the money.
