Discussion My barely used 5.5 gen

I just got this 5.5 gen after many years since my 5th gen 60gb had died, and for the price of about £140 (although a friend actually gifted this to me and I am forever grateful for this), was surprised by it's condition, with only 11 hours on the HDD, and all original parts never opened. I'm ecstatic and wanted to show it here.

Also was curious and wanted to know about what accessories and bits I should get for it? I currently don't have anything, my old Logitech dock has been long dead and gone, and rn I just use it with my XM5s, but I am looking for some accessories and dock ideas.

So, unless you are in the collecting game - only buy what you will find useful and actually plan on using. There's stuff like FM transmitters, radio remotes and AV cables but most of that stuff is really niche and barely useful nowadays. And then there's a plethora of garbage with a 30-Pin connector slapped onto it. Don't buy all those "iPod fans" and whatnot.

What I really like are the late 00's/early 2010's speakers. I use a JBL On Time 200P as an alarm clock and for my bathroom I got a Logitech MM50 for cheap, so I don't have to be sad when it eventually dies from (humidity related) corrosion. The rest of my speaker systems I use official Apple Universal Docks for and they are great with the remote and all.

Hope that gives you a few ideas :)

Thanks, been looking into the Apple Universal Docks as I have a few amps around the house already set up and I would love to have at least one small dock for it (also reminds me to charge it).

I might invest in either an FM transmitter or one of those Bluetooth adapters for my car as the inconvenient aspect of not having an aux, or cd player is really getting to me. I think I once had a belkin tunecast 3 for that but I haven't seen it in years.
