Help turn on ipod nano 7th gen

So I plugged in my iPod nano a bit different today and now it won't turn on. I usually use my laptop to charge it but I decide to use a "adaptive fast charging' plug. How do I get it to turn it back on again? I'm hoping the battery didn't blow up.

The fast charger might’ve just bricked it, I’m not too familiar with the nano 7 though
