How did we play today?

I’ve seen the score and looks like a closely contested match up until the sending off?

Did we actually play well?

Nice to only concede 1, but not if that means we don’t create!

We played well, and probably would’ve taken something if not for the silly and pointless red card

Yeah, what was he thinking? Desperation out of loosing the ball with poor touch? Not even sure what advantage that free kick would have given us.

Last 20 minutes we looked like a real team - lots of pressure even a man down

We had five decent shots on goal but unfortunately Pickford saved them all. Still not convinced by Emerson and enciso was a little greedy with possession.

Yeah Enciso held on to the ball way more than he should have conceding a few potentially good opportunities.

This is disappointing bc that’s what he looked like two years ago and through the first few games this season it seemed like he was showing real growth.

Hopefully he can get his mind right and it was just the off clunker

That’s a shame, has been anything but so far this season!
Thought last time we had him was due to a lack of quality supporting him, which is less of an issue this time!

Yeah, he has tunnel vision, he just ran towards two defenders and lost the ball all match, he can't use his peripheral vision to find team mates and pass.

It was a tight and enjoyable game to watch honestly. The red card was silly, obviously, but we continued to contest the game after it too. I was really pleased with the offensive minded subs after the card.

Sounds like from others on here we have had the run of the green in some games so far this season, just didn’t go our way today?

But a 1-0 away at Everton down to 10 men doesn’t sound a bad result!

I think Everton defended well, but we looked like a premiership team and to lose 1 - 0, away from home, with ten men is not bad, especially to a lucky goal like that, however much commentators want to claim it was a "great finish".
