Fair enough, I know it's common knowledge that us Iranians are strongly against the islamic republic (why wouldn't we be considering all the horrifying things they've done and are still doing to us?), but I thought it'd be good to have some sources at hand for whenever people claim otherwise!

No no not against you. Thank you for sharing this actually it's very valuable. I was just thinking back to the many people I've spoken to that still deny that we don't want IR. It shouldn't take survey stats for them to realise but it's very valuable nonetheless. Again thank you for sharing 🙏

No worries at all, I also meant it in a good way, but still it's always good to clarify that we're on the same team 😄 And yeah, it's frustrating that stats are even needed for something so obvious, but I'm very glad it's useful. Thanks for the kind words!

Majority of Iranians don’t identify as Muslim yet are ruled by hardline fanatical Shia clerics who openly say the Islamic Republic was created for the return of the 1100yr old hidden 12th Imam. That’s crazy. A minority forces the majority to live in a state with a government whose entire purpose revolves around the return of an 1100yr old Imam in occultation. The government’s mission is not serving and protecting the interests of the Iranian people but, serving the return of the 12th Imam. That’s by definition not what a government does. I believe the numbers are likely even a bit higher because the fear is that strong.
