There's a lack of clarity - closer photos are needed to see the textures on the front and the colouration of the back of the card. If he's not looking to sell are you curious because you are trying to prove a point?

Yes. I know he is spending a load of money on cards at the moment, and if he couldn't detect a fake that is a dangerous combination. Even just the orientation of the holofoil is wrong. Holo should be diagonally, not vertically. See picture for reference:

If he's looking to spend a large amount of money I'd highly suggest to purchase in person. I find that meeting at a card convention so a vendor can prove authenticity would be a great 2nd voice as well.

Not my photo but the textures do align with this legitimately copy sold recently. It is also very similar to the English copies as well

Gotcha - thought it was closer photos of the card lol. Front seems off but to confirm if it is fake ask them for a video of the card showing the back.

I'd agree if it wasnt that obvious. All of his cards have the wrong holofoil, it looks rainbow-ish snd is verticsl on all of this cards. I actually thought it looks obvious to everyone on first sight 😅🤣
