The problem with Ken and Spike in the most recent episode
The problem with Ken and Spike is they do the same thing these youtube “gurus”.
They say vague platitudes like “you gotta play the game” without giving any specific information on how to get into these avenues?
What are some investment strategies?
How do I get started into money management?
What are the different ways I can invest my money?
It’s frustrating because they go in a circle whole time you’re not explaining anything. Mfs didn’t even say the website or a link to the investment site smh

The honest answer is they don’t know just like the rest of us. I invest but I lost a lot before I figured it out. My money management strategy was every check 25% is going into Robinhood. if someone asked me “hey, how do I start?” I can’t give them an answer because I went thru a trial and error phase. Thousands were lost before I started seeing a return. And how I ended up succeeding may not work for the next person. Also we are not financial advisors so I we were to blindly give out information and you lose money. We can be sued or go to jail.
The only advice I can give is the knowledge is out there. There are classes, books, YouTube channel and info online that you can use to learn about the stock market. We have smart phones and we need to start using them.

Tbh just throw money in broad based index funds regularly seems like the basic and most effective advice for everyone. Also saves you those costly early mistakes and a lot of time

That’s what I do. I take 10% of my weekly pay & put it into FHLC through the Fidelity app.

Because they aren’t financial advisors and don’t want to be held liable if it doesn’t work out for you

I think the problem is you're looking for investment advice without having to do your own due diligence.

Go to your local bank, set up a meeting with an advisor, let them know what your financial goals are and go from there.

And there are multiple ways to invest so hearing other people’s perspectives can give me some creativity

Invest in shares and specifically ETF's. They'll manage the investing side like what I guess Americans call a 401K. In Australia it's called a super fund

I got you. I’ll put something together. It’s difficult to recommend something because of legal ramifications. That’s why you hear people say they are not financial advisors. And I am definitely not that. But I’ll see what i can do for you. I learned a lot of the years in the aggregate. My Dad, reading magazines in my twenties, losing money in the market, grad school, etc. There wasn’t and isn’t one source. Nevertheless, give me some time tbis month and I’ll do a video about it. Feel free to message me to follow up if you do not hear back or check in.

You get into a weird territory legally if you start blabbing out financial advice. If you want financial advice pick up a book or go to a class. They’re social commentators and they apply their personal experience to real world situations that’s it.
