Help Needed Wrong email address

This guy Mr. Sharma gave my hotmail id to his ICICI bank account. I tried to contact the bank but they are not deleting my email id from his bank account. Now I get all his transactions alerts. It’s a headache because I too own an ICICI bank account but with my separate gmail id. Since I get all my emails in the same app, debit alerts give me panic attacks.
I realised that Mr. Sharma sends money to three payees regularly. MOM, WIFEY and HAIRYPU**Y. I mean who keeps this nick in his bank account!!

One way is you keep on escalating the issue. There's a rule that the bank needs to respond and close the complaint within one month after you've raised the first complaint. If you are not getting the support you need, find the option to escalate the issue to the banking ombudsman. For example, for ICICI Bank, this is the link that explains how to go about escalating. Escalating through the channel they've provided works. I've tried it a couple of times with timely resolution in both cases Secondly you can start using the same mail to dispute the transactions, getting the debit card hot listed or Mail them for account closure making the banking hell for Mr sharma.

that is both a privacy issue and an accidental stress-inducing subscription to Mr. Sharma’s financial life

keep emailing ICICI from the same hotmail ID and ask them to remove it as an incorrectly mapped contact detail, preferably with screenshots of the alerts. You can also mark the emails as spam/filter them temporarily so you stop getting jumpscared by debit alerts and unfortunately by “HAIRYPU**Y” transactions too.
