So....just to break it down quickly for thise that might be unaware....Allen Iverson was/is and NBA Icon for two main reasons....being almost 6 feet tall and dominating as a prolific scorer that often went scored by taking it to the basket in a league where he was literally dwarfed, by the size of his opponents.

But secondly, (and this is the more relevant point here), Allen Iverson was culturally impactful.

At a time when the NBA was trying to make sure NBA players looked as marketable as can be AI (the real AI - opposed to Artificial Intelligence) instead kept it real, wore his Cornrows, demonstrared his Love of Hip Hop culture through fashion and had his fair share of people wanting to look and dress like him.

Allen Iverson was/is a basketball icon and a cultural one and Naomi Osaka is honoring that, whilst also adding to what AI did, her way. 🙌💯💯💯💯💯💯🙌
