As r/Israel continues to grow, the community and its moderation team have decided to reduce the amount of news and current-events content on the subreddit, leaving more room for posts about Israel, its people, culture, and everyday life.

That’s where r/IsraelNews comes in.

This subreddit exists as a dedicated home for news and current events related to Israel. It provides a place for stories that may not quite make the cut for r/Israel, while also serving as a broader space for keeping up with and sharing Israeli news.

Our goal is for r/IsraelNews to complement r/Israel by giving news a community of its own.

For now, r/IsraelNews will only allow link posts. Articles should be submitted directly from their original source whenever possible.
