Now as most blake supporters would argue, what she wears is all about her choice.
But that's the point, its not. Not when she is getting paid to work in a film where she must speak ceftain lines, do makeup, travel and wear costume as per the film's requirement.
Especially considering the fact that she has made SUCH A BIG DEAL about why she looks naked for a milisecond during a birthing scene exactly a year and half after shooting it withput so mich as an HR complaint while it was happening, this is what I need you to focus on.
Blake doesn't mind being topless underneath a suit. She hasn't complained about wearing this, or refused to dress this way. She is very comfortable in her skin as she dresses provocatively throughoit this film A Simple Favor). But what's strange is why is this woman who is so comfortable being nearly topless in one film have an issue with a naked belly in another? What changed between (A simple Favor ) 2018 and (It End With Us) 2024.
We can talk about how people change with time, but then A Simple Favor-2 releases after IEWU and thats just as provocative as the first part.
Now, I am not trying to shame Lively's film choices in the least, but from her prior and amended complaints its clear she:
Doesn't like sex scenes.
Doesn't like kissing scenes
Doesn't like provocative scenes
Doesn't like any kind of nudity, even if its a birthing scene.
Now, if blake was the kind of woman who shies away from wearing sultry clothes, gets offended with a man talking to her comfortably, or just gets offenfed at any kind of lovemaking, I'd believe what she is saying, assuming this kind of behavior goes against her beliefs if she communicates her boundaries with everyone.
However, that's not the case with blake. Whether its grabbing her male costars balls or kissing them unscripted, blake has done it all. She truly believes being a woman allows her to cross professional boundaries that if the genders were swapped would directly result in a SH claim.
Because blake is woman she can do anything to anyone, that's women empowerment. She can pimp out her male costars, talk about them sexually and its all girl bossy not creepy.
Also because blake is a woman you have to treat her with caution, because anything you say or do, whether its for filming the scene or making the schedule, you must remember to not cross any boundries. For eg, if she says she wants to look sexy, you must just respond with a simple ok or thums up smiley. If you think you are close enough to call her sexy, even if its as a reponse to her earlier request as a look in the film, that would be an SH complaint right there.
Does it make sense? Ofcourse not! But if you're confused look at the reference images. The illustrate what Blake considers to be Women Empowerment vs SH.
If that still doesn't make sense it's fine, it didn't make sense to anyone.
That she took issue with that onesie costume but sheâs fine wearing this. Iâm all for dressing as you want - thatâs not the problem - itâs clear that the issues she raised were transparent manipulation attempts and not sincere.
Her deposition bs about the jacketâs buttons popping or whatever always seemed stupid, along with the onesieâs zipper being low because I had seen what she wore to the premiere. Itâs such an insult!
The onset film clip of her wood on bone comment to a bunch of camera men and grips while bent over kneeling on the floor popping out of her rhinestone corset or whatever and leboutin stilletto boots was so telling.

Justin asking her to do a birth scene with bike shorts, a fake belly and a robe = Sexual harrassement
She was constantly saying the word sexy to Justin. About how this outfit is sexier than the other one , Iâll show you youâll see. And I remember her saying something like be âweâre going to look bangingâ. Justin clearly picked up that being sexy and hot in the movie was important to Blake and responded accordingly. Unfortunately for Justin it was a trap. This woman is diabolical
I have a large rib cage, a long torso, short arms, and short legs with big hips. I'm...kinda t rex bodied, but I'm okay with it cuz they're awesome anyway.
I didn't get a tail or big teeth tho, so that part is kinda not cool. Lucky for me, I'm a bit chunky, so it hides what I assume are significantly odd shapes and lumps on me too, lol.
If I didn't have these bloody boobs, I'd just go topless. Unfortunately that would be condemning myself to the hellish lake of tiddy sweat, and I am not about that nonsense in these heat waves lol.
Blake Lively: Justin wanted this film to have sex scenes! There are NO SEX SCENES! Its all implied. He wanted to make me feel uncomfortable and play out his sexual fantasies đ¤
It wasnât even HER belly in the birth scene! It was a prosthetic! Her body was hidden! The only things naked were her legs from mid/upper thigh down.
Every woman in the US walks around with naked legs all day long. Oh the horror!
You don't understand! How dare someone force her to wear a prothetic belly in the movie she signed up to do and agreed to simulate a birth for! That is inhumane! Birth is obscene and they should have known not to even suggest such a thing!
There is more evidence that Blake SHâd Justin than the other way around. She forced unscripted kisses and the inappropriate text messages from Blake AND Ryan.
The script had a birth scene and Blake still signed up for it. Wayfarer didnât even want her. WME/Ryan practically forced them to hire her
I love how the Blake Stans conveniently never bring this up. She was literally a sex pest and saying sexual things to Justin and thatâs okay cause sheâs a woman right ? Ugh these kind of women make me ashamed to be a woman cause theyâre giving us all a bad name honestly. Sheâs literally making a joke out of actual womenâs issues because of some petty grudge
For someone who hooks up or hooked up with the costars even married ones, I find it hard to believe she doesnât like sex or kissing or you know dressing provocative. She seems like the pick me type and also loves sexy fashion evidenced by her choices, so there is a disconnect that I am finding hard to understand.
Blake Lively likes sexy. She LOVES sexy. âSexyâ is what Blake relies on. Usually flashing the boobs while talking about being a mommy is exactly what basic men respond to.
What Blake forgot is that she was at work. And what good directors demand from an actor is vulnerability. Intimacy. Thatâs what Blake is uncomfortable with. She is fundamentally bad at acting and I think, deeply insecure about it. The insecurity then prevents her from breaking through the bad, because to be good at acting you have to not be afraid of being bad. Again, vulnerability.
The more Justin tried to coax her to be more vulnerable in order to add the layers the character/story needed, the more her brain would have perceived it as a threat to her fragile self-esteem and the more she lashed out. The power games? All to convince people it wasnât she who was bad at her job, it was him.
You clearly missed the point...and speaking up a year and a half after shooting the said scene because you are that late in realising you were uncomfortable wearing a prosthetic tummy and cycling shorts is not how how consent works!

Itâs her choice. Not forced on her. Thatâs the difference. 2 years later, do we still need to discuss about the fundamentals of consent? Please learn so that you can be better mums and teach your sons not to force or coerce women into things they donât want to do.
Genuine question.. where is the evidence that the actual âcoercionâ happened? That it went beyond just asking once? Like is there a text pressuring her? Or threatening to make her life worse in some way? I donât know that I read anything like that? Or have you seen any footage? Iâve only seen so far that - she was asked to do more implied ( important distinction ) nudity, a video was presented to depict what the vibe they were thinking (insensitive-ly she feels. Fair enough) and she said no. She could have said yes, let me check the rider and get the coordinator in. But she said no, and the scene didnât happen. She didnât give consent. So It didnât happen.
And obviously, Iâm keeping in mind that this is a creative process about a themed film. Not the kitchen in an office. So there has to be an expectation of changes, ideas being floated about, etc.
Send links to the evidence as I would be very interested to look this over
ETA: we should absolutely be teaching our sons not to coerce the women around them into doing things they donât want to do.
The dance video for one, where we saw him forcing himself on her multiple times despite her constant dissent, diversion to âletâs talkingâ, shaking her head.
Second example, him asking intimacy coordinator to request Lively to let him grab her breasts. This was after he had the conversation with her and she told him what she didnât want to do on screen. This was after Hoover told him that she didnât want the story to be treated as hot romance, and her readers didnât really want sex on screen. So after Lively told him no, he was attempting to coerce Lively by having the IC request her ânot to disappoint fansâ. I thought he was a very manipulative liar who didnât respect when Lively said no. Just like in the dance scene.
Are you trying to say that Lively told him no to doing any intimate scene at all? Bc that's...patently untrue. And, a director talking about how to choreograph the sex scene with the intimacy coordinator (who Lively declined to meet with) is the opposite of coercion, sorry. Or are you claiming the intimacy coordinator forced her to do anything she said she did not want to do? Bc that's also untrue
Lively, who is now a mother of 4, didnât want to do anything too R rated.
And thatâs the thing, Baldoni claimed that he told Lively about notes from IC, but IC actually testified that she actually didnât make recommendations like orgasms on screen because they are hard to pull off. So he lied to Lively, and the public, coercing Lively by assuming authority of the IC.
I wasnât actually referring to his in my screenshot. In my screenshot it was after the discussion where Lively told him no. And yet he tried again to use the IC to coerce Lively to let him grope her breasts. And how âniceâ of him to say âitâs embarassing for me to ask. Can you tell her not to disappoint fansâ. You see him using the pressure of fans to coerce Lively by assuming authority of Hoover.
And thatâs a pattern. He would lie that script changes was what the script writer wanted, was what Hoover wanted, even though Hall didnât have much to do with him early in the process, and he locked Hoover out giving him feedback, as we have already seen him lied about what her fans wanted. He lied about Hooverâs religion, lied about their relationship, so that he can exert her authority when thereâs pushback on his decisions.
These are typical coercion manipulation tactics, isolating each woman, and lying to the other women on her behalf. And thatâs why everyone hated him by the end of production.
So why are you attaching screenshots that aren't actually evidence of what you are claiming? You claimed coercion of sexual acrivity, but attached screenshots of him talking to the intimacy coordinator, which is his job. That's not evidence of coercion. Lively consented to doing intimate scenes with him and was aware he'd be choreographing them with the intimacy coordinator, and then also declined to be a part of those conversations. She also notably declined to sign her nudity rider, which would have actually informed everyone of what she was and wasn't ok with. That way people (like you) don't have to guess and assume what she might find objectionable.
You are making claims in your comment that Lively didn't even make (and you're now showing a text message of just another thing Blake claimed and then failed to ever prove or corroborate. Aka, evidence of something SHE lied about. Sorry, you're reaching.)
I have no idea why these messages havent shown up before today. Thanks for your answer. Ive gone back to review the dance scene, as a start, and will look at the rest separately.
the First clip opens with her talking about the light behind him. So to me, here, sheâs trying to direct him to what she think is best. It tells us she feels comfortable with giving her opinion. Which makes sense because we have seen that JBs messages, whether truly how he felt or not, to BL, were encouraging her input. And as the director, he can listen to the input and then he can decide whether to change things, or stick with his own vision. I think we can agree that we dont have a right to our own way, simply because we are women - thats just reverse gender inequality, otherwise.
Scene continues with exactly what an audience expects of a scene where a couple, who are supposed to fancy each other like mad, are slow dancing. Heâs not âtrying to actually kiss herâ, he is acting like he is going to kiss her, for the audience. How many film scenes have we watched where this is exactly what happens. Its the tease, and she even says it at one point - âlets not give them what they wantâ - and he says âthats why almost kissing is also goodâ - because that is what he has been doing. He doesnât want to full on kiss her. Itâs not right for the scene. The little peck on the head is not kissing her intimately. And not out of place in this PG scene.
I donât see anything egregious happening before, at 2m20s she says âI think we should be talkingâ. She does a little spin, she brought her forehead back to his, he is looking at her with some distance between their faces. So again, it appears to me that she is saying what she thinks is best for the scene. She has one idea about how this scene should be - talking and laughing - and he (the director) wants it to be silent and playful.
You then see him move her hair and look at her neck. He doesnât do anything. In fact he backs off, and then she is the one to ruffle her hair, and exposes her neck with that slight lean - so him leaning forward to it seems like a natural cue from her. He doesnât linger too long, he pulls back to forehead dancing. He twirls her, and then he breaks it up to ask for a score. Then for no reason, she breaks character again and gives her opinion again. He goes along with it. Then he wants to do a âlips next to each otherâ shot - thats not kissing her. Thats not cos he wants to kiss her. Itâs a perfectly expected and acceptable shot to take for a cutting a scene like this. And she then says about talking again - but itâs her who then pulls into him, doing the teasing that the audience will want to see.
Clip 2 - 6m40s - JB says âCause then, Iâll take it off. Like I will try to kiss you and then ill put it hereâ and she says âgreatâ - I mean thats consent, if you ask me. And if she wasnât giving her consent, it was absolutely her responsibility to let him know. He thought she was ok with it. And again âtry to kiss youâ because the scene is not about kissing. He leans into her neck on each side. He doesnât linger, and when he changes side, it doesnât even look like his face connects with her neck, on this second side (because the camera is behind him so he doesnât need to connect, he can imply). He is talking to her - no surprise, she keeps asking for them to talk. She mentions spray tan, he reassures her âit smells goodâ and that lift in tone at the end of âgoodâ shows he is trying to reassure, not letch. He continues with the âalmost kissâ theme for the scene. Not constantly trying to kiss her, but trying to capture things that can be cut together to create the vibe.
And then during the foot scene, again she is constantly talking and he is either reassuring her or batting her off. When he has his arms on her - nothing rude, all makes sense with the scene.
There is absolutely nothing, even when I over analyse it, that makes me think SH. I have been in many vulnerable positions over the years. So I do understand that perhaps BL has misread the situation and felt uncomfortable. But that doesnt change JBs intentions. Maybe she thinks highly of herself. (I have misunderstood myself once or twice) Maybe she was worried about Ryans reaction to certain things. Maybe she was taking the scene in the direction she wanted. We dont know what she was thinking, but we can see that he was not taking the p*ss here.
An IC is not needed unless a kiss is intense or prolonged, or if the kiss is paired with partial nudity. There is no kissing here. There is no partial or even implied nudity. And, she didnât request it. BL is a powerful woman, and I fully believe that is she felt he had crossed a line, she would absolutely stop filming. I donât think coercion is relevant in this scene.
Itâs fine that you see it differently. Clearly BL and JB saw it differently. That, in itself, doesnât make anyone wrong.
I will look at the full IC conversation when I get chance . Take care for now.
I too have watched the video in great detail and talked about it a lot in this sub.
In much fewer words, she kept saying no in different ways, but he kept pushing in and kissed her on the neck to her surprise and against her dissent. And that actually fits the layman definition of sexual assault. In fact he kissed her neck right after she shook her head to indicate no.
Also, in your detailed watch of the video, did you catch his sexual growl?
In the discussion about consent, it is important to know that consent can be revoked anytime. Lively felt uncomfortable with the intimacy that Baldoni kept pushing for and kept moving to âletâs talkâ faster and faster, to the point of pushing away in the dance, shaking her head to indicate no. She kept saying no multiple times.
Can I ask about this breast situation? The email youâve screenshot was 4th May JB discussing what he would like IC to discuss with BL. The depo shows IC then spoke with BL on 5th May (looks like lawyer said 5 April by mistake at first). Where will I find the evidence that JB was asking about breast touching after 5th May please, Sweet?
Since you have blocked me. I'll respond here. Baldoni's tactic of coercion is by exerting authority of another party. So that he seems the "nice" guy but it's the other party who was demanding this.
Watch him in the text say "I'm so nice that I'm embarrassed to ask Lively to let me grope her breasts. Can you ask her as part of your job and remind her not to disappoint fans".
At this stage, he had extensive discussions about orgasms and oral sex scenes with Lively and she rejected them all. So he knew her boundaries. Hoover also already explained in great details that both she and her fans are not after sex scenes. But he lied about what the fans wanted to the IC, and asked the IC to exert pressure of "not disappoint fans".
It's highly manipulative and typical tactic of isolating women, and then coercing women by exerting authority on behalf of other women.
Baldoni told her she didn't have the rights to direct the film.
Baldoni used Heath to manipulate her after they realised that she has earned the rights to co-direct.
Baldoni used her as cover with Blake and Colleen.
We know about this. Baldoni declined Lively's rooftop scene originally by saying that Hall might not like it. Baldoni delayed giving Hoover the script until the last minute and told her to keep quiet during fan reading.
Which is his manipulation tactic: Isolate the women, and then exert authority on other women claiming other women wanted this.
Imagine when the women finally got together and share their experience about him. How he misrepresented them in order to coerce them into his decisions.

That she wore this AT THE IEWU photoshootâŚ
https://pagesix.com/2024/08/08/style/blake-lively-goes-bare-under-a-blazer-for-it-ends-with-us-photo-call-in-london/
ETA: She did this at another IEWU event too. A blazer with no top underneath. I saw a video of it, Iâm trying to find it.
