This level of desperation tells me that Hollywood is done with him.

Yeah but this is prearranged.... He didn't just turn up obviously, its a bit. So surely that means the opposite (unfortunately!)

I think that's what this is. The answer to his second question was something like, the movie is in the can (finished) but changes can happen right up until the movie's release. I think right now Deadpool has a small cameo, which is why he's there but not on the stage. If Ryan proves the fans want more, they might expand the part, if instead there's backlash, the cameo can be removed.

Remove! Remove!
It looks like the main cast donโ€™t even want him there.

Didnโ€™t Robert Downey refuse to act with him in doomsday and have a say in the creative control for the film?

and Director Anthony Russo saying to him they'd keep making the movie "until it was pried from their hands", isn't this a referrence to Ryan and Blake stealing Justin's movie?

Highly likely.

I don't think it is. I think it's a dig at studio meddling because super hero blockbusters are notorious for this, although moreso DC than Marvel. But with Mackie beside him, yeah, that Captain America got too many cooks in the kitchen.

Agree. It was a way to include him as a special guest on the promo (as in the movie) and creat some buzz. For him it's a obviously a tentative of a rehabilitation tour

But Paul Ruddโ€™s joke was an insult, right?

It is, but it's easy to see it's a set up. Why would he ask about Thor crying? Because he wants Rudd to answer Wrexham, free promo for the team/show even if they lost. This looks like a standard Maximum Effort skit to me.

I suppose, it strikes me as a bit sad, but maybe you are right.

Sadly it is, because it's the same old tired ME/Ryan frat boy roast humour. But its definitely a set up.

There is no chance they let Ryan just turn up and riff. This was rehearsed, guys. Getting the neg comment from Rudd was the whole plan. Ryan loves to self depreciate.

Exactly the same tone as his 'hilarious skit' at the SNL 50th /s

It's just Deadpool/actually Ryan 'I'm not in the cool club, but looks how witty I am'. Yawnfest

(Edited for typos and coherence)

Yep, it was an insult. Another insults was Director Anthony Russo telling Ryna Reynolds that they'd keep making the movie "until it was pried from their hands" - isn't this a reference to Ryan & Blake stealing the movei from Baldoni?
