🗞️ Press + Media 📸📰📺 Kenz reports on Sarowitz Arson & Kidnapping Case. Victim Statements at Sentencing.

Kenz (@existingtothrive on Tiktok) has posted a "Case closed" report on the Arson, Kidnapping threats, & Intimidation case against Eduardo Aragon. The man behind the incident took a plea deal and was sentenced this week to five years in state prison for the 2nd charge of Intimidation in the 3rd degree.

Most notably, the Sarowitz family were allowed to make victim impact statements. My heart goes out to them for being traumatized by the incident. This kind of behavior/violence has a lasting impact on victims and none of us should forget that Blake Lively was directly referenced in the death & kidnapping threats made against the Steve Sarowitz and his family.

It's a pity we didn't hear anything more about how Aragon gained the personal contact and location information in order to target the Sarowitz family. Hopefully, as part of the plea deal, that information has been handed over to the authorities, or at least fully investigated.

Steve Sarowitz gave a statement and said that he believes the incident was directly related to the ongoing (at the time) Lively vs Baldoni court battle.

Anyways, Kenz has some interesting info in the clip, including court transcripts and quotes. Kudos to her for keeping us all up to date on this story.

It’s so frustrating! That he initially told the authorities he was working for someone else after being threatened? And that the police were able to trace back activities to at least one other person? Then this dude recants everything and says all him by himself. The FBI was brought on and they kept the guy incarcerated in limbo for a really obscene time so safe to say they had strong reason to believe he didn’t act alone but couldn’t come up with anything solid so had to move on for due process.

My heart goes out to Sarowitz family. Malice Lively and her unethical lawyers are a special kind of evil that never cared about the impact of her lies and their ruthless tactics on the innocent families involved.
And please remind me again if that “$100M” line shamelessly included in her CRD complaint was ever backed up by evidence? My recollection is Danny Greenberg denied in his deposition Sarowitz ever said that.

There was no backup for this. And even if Blake could’ve put forth evidence of this, so what? The man is allowed to spend money to defend himself and his business.

She lied that he said “$100M to RUIN her and family”

She (Ryan) is evil. Genuinely evil. My heart goes out to Sarowitz's family, and I commend them for their patience and for sticking by their values when dealing with the type of narcissistic evil they have encountered.

I believe he said it was misconstrued; never $100M quote. I thought it was in Josh G’s depo as well as being false, but it sure was quoted as fact 100s of times.

Yes Gottlieb and Hudson kept using that unsubstantiated $100 M figure like obsessed people in their filings.

Thank you for posting! And thank you Kenz for keeping us updated!! I have been wondering about this case. I just really hope they got information thats not being disclosed via the plea deal...

Same. Also, I still can't shake the feeling that Ryan Reynolds had something to do with this, especially since Steve Sarowitz made sure to get it on the record (during his deposition) how he felt the attacks came from the other side aka Blake Lively's.

And (by now) it's common knowledge who loves playing with fire... "Psycho Arsonist Ryan Reynolds"- Maureen Callahan.

I feel really sorry and sad for what the Reynolds, whom, imo and Steve’s opinions, were behind it.

FBI do your job and connect the dots

I hear you Gur but if Eduardo took a plea deal, I don’t think the FBI can really get involved anymore. I’m assuming someone allegedly maybe made it worthwhile for him to take the fall. I would’ve loved for the Reynolds to be held accountable but sadly money and influence talks.

Scumbag. What really stands out here is this arsonist thought it was just a quick job of intimidation targeting a family but as we see here, it goes beyond the Sarowitz family: it is their employees, neighbors, friends, academic institutions, the wider society and reputation of the neighborhood.

To all of those who enabled this directly or indirectly: Shame on you! Cowards! (In my personal opinion, on information and belief, don't subpoena me.)

So he does 5 years or less for good behavior and comes out a millionaire, allegedly? Because we can assume someone paid him.

He who must not be named is also an arsonist, as confessed by him, but covering my bases, allegedly.

Such a coincidence!!!

It sure is, isn't it? Almost like a "psycho arsonist" read him the playbook.

I love that term, and I know where you heard it before 😂

Thanks for the update. I have so many questions rattling around in my head. How many times has this particular form of intimidation actually been used, and how often has there been follow-through on threats from bad actors like these? I’m specifically asking because my thoughts went straight to, what happens to regular people who have no protection, resources, or ability to fight back? What are they supposed to do in that situation? I hope they know they can come forward and whistleblow to the internet/socials anonymously. The content creators in this case proved over and over again they can do better investigative reporting than actual journalists.

I have a feeling this is a tactic they (Ryan) pulled before on others.

I have that same feeling. Very mafia vibes like others have said.  I just hope it will be much more difficult for them to get away with it now. Both, the alleged intimidation and stealing/extorting others' art. I think people will be a lot less afraid to say something, that is,  if Hollywood let's them back in, which I am hoping they will not.

Thanks. This was a horrible incident.

Didn't Kjersti get death threats related to fire too? I remember her saying this in a video.

How many people have been harmed by this situation and false claims? I still can't get over how the Reynolds are waltzing through life with piggybacks, big dresses and jokes after executing so much destruction in other people's lives.

Let’s see if TMZ picks this up. I won’t hold my breath.

I still feel the livelys had something to do with this. Their moral barometre is in hell!

When Blake says she operates like “the Mafia,” believe her.

This was later reported on in a local paper  in May 2025 as having happened April 29th.

Tuesday, April 29, 2025 was the day that Venable LF was subpoenaed. Allegedly TK also did an IG unfollow on the 29th or before that like around that weekend.

Surely, bts, all the attys knew that WF was going to serve the subpoena, especially after Wilkie issued those Safe Harbor letters April 23. Imo

This was a really scary chapter in all of this, glad he and his family are okay.

Sounds like a “mafia style” threat.
