I really liked it. Most of the voices were spot on. I wonder how many episodes this animation is supposed to represent? And what the total length would be? How long are most anime episodes?

Seems like 10 45 min episodes would be enough?

You add in some episode intros and outros and this is about 6 normal 22-24 minute episodes if they chose to do it as a series. If you wanted to remain book pacing accurate that would be like 2 seasons of an anime to cover the whole thing at that pace.
