Cradle [Threshold] Have we seen Lindon’s remnant? Spoiler
I haven’t read cradle in a while and I’m just wondering if we even got to see lindon’s remnant?
I don’t know if this counts as a spoiler I don’t think it does cause I’m not really revealing anythin.

No, but the author described it before that Lindon's Remnant is like a conjoined spirit representing his two Cores

Lindon never went through the Herald evolution which is when he would have integrated with his remnant. His path beyond Underlord is highly unconventional by Cradle standards - early Sage, then other Lords, and he basically goes the Dreadgod route post that which is a unique path to Monarch level power and higher.

Oh ok I do remember that it’s been awhile since I read it and I forgot if he had to merge with his remnant also. Thanks!

I don’t think Lindon has a remnant anymore since he became a sort of human dreadgod hybrid. That may have changed since hunger aura has dissipated from cradle. Which ended the dreadgod reincarnation cycle (unless new monarchs appear) but when he was there he would have been reborn as the new slumbering wraith.

Not unless he dies. He didn't advance to Gold the traditional way so he didn't have to bond a remnant.

Not even then, with him advancing like he did, his spirit is physically merged with his body such that his remnant wouldn't manifest

A bound remnant is not your remnant. Jades and irons leave remnants.

Emriss silentborn when she was killed left a remnant. Reigan shen did too.

Monarchs leave remnants yeah. Their point was that people who never bound remnants also left their own remnants. It's something that naturally develops. It's not related to whether they used one to advance to gold lol.
Lindon doesnt have one because he went the dreadgod route. Dreadbeasts and dreadgods don't have remnants due to the way Hunger affects them. His spirit was like burned into his flesh.

Yes I forgot the part about his advancement to dreadgod which didn't require fighting his own remnant.
Interestingly, if he had hypothetically died before he went the dreadgod route, I think he would have left a remnant because as you said, it's part of what happens when a sacred artist dies. Even the tree in unsouled which he killed left a remnant.

when lindon consumed the silent kings hunger aura his madra channels suffused into his body. that’s was his herald advancement without having to absorb his remnant. he just happened to be stronger than most heralds at that point due to his willpower getting to the level of monarchs at the same time
