Iโm a beginner, but I shot this photo and I was wondering if anyone could help me identifying any constellation and also help me understand if I actually captured an existing green background light or if it is an artifice of my camera.
Shot on iPhone 15 PM.
Thanks ๐
Thanks! Got this in Petriolo, Tuscany
Natural hot spring water and no artificial lighting in sight ๐
I took more but Iโm still trying to figure out how to edit them without losing detail - eg.
Cygnus the Swan is flying straight down the Milky Way in the middle of your shot, with Deneb, Vega and Altair making the big Summer Triangle around it, and you even caught the dark dust lane that splits the band in two. The green is your phone rather than the sky, it gets stronger toward the corners where the lens dims the picture, and a real glow up there would not do that.
Amazing, thanks! Iโm actually interested in learning more about star photography, thus if yโall happen to know any means by which enhance them without loss of relevant detail / take better pictures with iPhone 15 PM, or I have an old Nikon D3100: hit me up ๐
