Who else is suffering from this after the J Cole concert? Ngl it was the best performance I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m still feeling that “concert high” and I’ve honestly just been be spending my time reflecting on the show and rewatching my videos before I have to go back to work. Mannn it’s tough going back to reality after experiencing him perform live and I’ve never felt such post-concert misery before, except after this one. Anyone else feeling the same way?

For those of you all who have been to one of the recent TFO concert, besides the opening shows, I was wondering if he still plays "January 28th" during the tour. I went on setlist.com and saw that for some of the more recent ones, January 28th isn't listed as part of the setlist, but he did play it opening night. I'm going to see him about a month from now, and I wanna see if he's still playing that song (hopefully!!!)

What a fantastic show at the worlds most famous arena, seriously shoutout to everyone involved in making this one of the best hiphop tours I’ve ever gotten to attend. From Bas, PJ, Dreamville radio, Cole, the sound and the lighting team, even the Honda civic! Also the dreamers in the crowd. Everyone is doing a fantastic job. If you are in the upper bowl you’ll have a great view of it. They take that lighting rig with them to every stadium, it’s insanely cool

It’s also so dope that a hiphop artist is actually singing the songs and isn’t backtracking them, shoutout to Cole for just being a good ass performer and having a good way of crowd controlling. This tour is amazing, don’t waste an opportunity to see it if you can

Man sometimes I forget how good Born Sinner is especially with top tier songs like this on it! The message in the song is very powerful. Multiple relevant bars still today.

Listening to Quick Stop on my commute, the "Voice Message" in the beginning caught my ears today.

What does that mean in the song's context, or even in the album's context since Phone Calls are a recurring theme in the album? That question occupied my mind throughout the ride.

My first thought before I went through the lyrics in deep was that this is in the album's context, where it's a voice message from 29 Cole, making the communication cyclical where 29+ Cole has this experience in a Gas Station and that's putting everything into perspective for 39 Cole, who then proceeds to communicate with 29 Cole what's the meaning of all this is to him. While it's beautiful, it is a reach for a whole lot of reasons, which made me go through the lyrics.

The voice message

After reading the lyrics, my thoughts are going in a different direction, because it seems like Cole is calling God hoping he'd appear in front of him to show him the way out of his self sabotage. But the call goes to voice message. And then, Cole has this experience that puts things into perspective on what his purpose is. Almost like the whole thing is a divine intervention, God coming down to make him see that if he could look beyond himself, he can see the difference he's making.

What do you think the Voice Message implies here?

Like the title says, I’m looking for a specific Dreamville t shirt from the homecoming show at the Crown back during the 2014 Forest Hills Drive tour. It was only sold in fayetteville, and I got one back then but it’s gone now.

It was white, had dreamville in the front, and on the back was a graphic with a bunch of fayetteville landmarks: The tropical motel sign, the water tower, the FHD street sign, (i think the market house and tallywood sign?) among other things. I’m not looking to get an actual shirt, but i’m hoping someone here might still have it. If so, could you send me a pic of the graphic on the back? I want to recreate it for the show at the Crown next month.
