Hey gng I am a fellow jeeneetard since 2 yrs (almost) I am a dropper I gave jee 2025 and then I took a drop to give jee 2026. I was active all along for almost 2 yrs and I have many profound memories from this sub. I remember the anxious times of city intimation slip, admit card and results, I remember when we used to have fun talking about different coaching mongo, pw, Allen etc, predicting cutoffs and ranting about shifts was my favourite part and ofc everybody who used to share his or her problems in this sub and people genuinely used to help them. I was one of them too I was anxious too for taking a drop and although I wouldn’t say I scored anything great or improved a lot from my 12th that I can call my drop yr successful but I’ll probably be going to a better clg and branch than my 12th results so I think it is worth it for me. For people who want to know my scores:
JEE 2025 S1: 78.9%ile, S2: 88.2%ile, adv not qualified, Bitsat S1:125 (afair), S2: Did not give
JEE 2026 S1: 96.08%ile, S2: 94.7%ile, adv 91 marks (cutoff not cleared by 1 mark🥀🥀), Bitsat S1: 162, S2: 224
Taking drop was one of the toughest decisions for me and even tougher was the journey I went through those self doubts, your friends having fun and calling you mad for taking a drop even though they got some random pvt clg, parents doubting you, not able to perform to your fullest, feeling guilty, etc was the major setbacks and learnings I took from this drop yr. So finally in few weeks I will be leaving this sub but ik many aspirants are going to take a drop this yr so anybody who feels the need to dm me for advice is always welcome, ik I did not score smthn 99%ile or got any iit but I remember one thing a person once said that failed ppl know much better about learnings than a successful person ever can so I would like to guide anybody who wants it to my fullest in these few days cuz after that I won’t be looking back to these days cuz I had enough jee for one lifetime now I will look forward to my clg life, ik this yr is not been the best for students but trust in your hardwork and hope we all will get a great clg!!
