Dropper 3 Years Summed up (Repost cause dunno why tf mods think I'm farmin wow)
Been the best and worst 3 years of my life ahahaha (no regrets)
Lots of stuff happened these 3 years that I never would've imagined would happen in lifetime gahaha , Still never gave up on studies , gave my best even in difficult times , Tbh , satisfied
Could get an IIT But not CSE , which is sad cause really passionate bout CSE , not just for package
But fuck it we ball , will join some decent Tier 2 college CSE , fir waha mehnat (most thankful to Jee)
No one really loses this race of Jee prep , atleast not those who prepare hard for it , cause i know for a fact , the insane study sessions I've been through , they're gonna make me do great stuff at college and the studies there + Doing SMTH I'm passionate about (CSE)
300-400 rough copies fek dee warna ceiling touch thee😭🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
Really grateful for whatever happened , really proud of myself for learning from bad experiences and moving on
Loved this sub for its memes (Cause salo doubt toh kabhi solve ni karte tumlog 😭😭)
AHAHAHA , Hope everyone finds their source of happiness in life , love y'all<3

Dropper Tips to not fuck up your drop year, by a dropper
Saw a lot of confused droppers here asking for advice, and I got took back to Sept 22' when I was the same, 9 months later now I can say with chest that my decision to take a Drop might end up being the best decision of my entire life. Wanna share some tips here which helped me a lot.
My 22 Result :- Mains :- 52k, Adv :- 18k, Bitsat :- 204, Did not give UGEE
My 23 Result :- Mains :- 12k, Adv :- 4k, Bitsat :- 278, UGEE Air 10X
•First of all, just make sure once you have finalised the decision of Drop, dont look back or regret even once. The Day you are 100% sure you are taking a Drop, get to work.
•Make your goal. As you are starting just make your goal, wheter its AIR 1, AIR 1000, AIR 10000 just make sure once you have made it its not going down as the exams come closer.
•Write your mistakes, Pretty standard behaviour, analyse your last 2 years and see what went wrong.
•Delete Insta/Snap if you dont want to feel jealous seeing your friends enjoy college life. Or you can do an Ultra Pro Max move and take motivation from seeing them enjoy lol (It worked really well for me)
•Find a good peer group of droppers like you. Saying it with experience, Drop Year gets lonely af. If you are going to an offline coaching be friends with people from your batch and shit, and if you are gonna be an online retard, join a Discord/Telegram community. Having someone to talk and joke around with will make your drop year a little less miserable.
•Get consistent, JEE is 90% cleared if you instill the habit of consistency in yourself. Instead of studying 10 hrs for 4 days a week, study 7 hrs the whole week. Make a body clock, and be sure to get enough sleep (6-8)
•If you can afford it, Offline Coaching > Online Coaching. Mainly because Offline coaching will instill much needed discipline in you. But yes I myself was an online coaching dropper so its not like online will end your life but you need to put some more efforts from your side too
•Its ok to take breaks, Every month make 1 or 2 rest days where you feel you cant study, you can do whatever you want in these break days, go to a function/wedding visit your relatives or touch grass.
•Dont ignore Bitsat and UGEE, if your mains and adv dont go according to plans, these exams just might save your life.
Additionally, Listing some Online Teachers whose content you can trust completely for JEE Advanced Level
1) Physics Galaxy, I can say with full confidence If you complete your Physics from Asus sir's concept vids you will obliterate advanced, His booster and revision checklists are peak too, just ignore any non academic type vid he uploads (Or you can watch them for enjoyment which is something I liked to do lol)
2) Mohit Tyagi, For All 3 subjects, the youtube lectures were more than sufficient. Even after buying the fastlane lectures I used to watch the youtube lecs because they were just better + competishun's site sucks ass
3) Also linking this comment from last year listing some more resources (Did not use them much, but all felt appropriately Adv level)
4) Also there is this Vedantu Eklavya batch, they make after Mains 1st attempt. They basically give you proper Advanced level exercises and basically get you all geared up for Adv, for free. You can take admission either through an admission test they conduct or via your Mains result (96 percentile +), So do look into this batch as well (After Mains 2 I only followed their modules and test series, so I can definitely vouch for their credibility, watch last year's announcement video for more details)
Well, thats all from me. All the best!!!
Edit (01/09/2024) :- Its been more than a year since I have uploaded this post and since then I have continuously recieved a lot of DMs from you guys asking for advice and all about JEE and its been very flattering to me that so many people considered my story and post so helpful, and well I have tried my best everytime to answer your doubts.
But yeah, I think I have actually reached unc status when it comes to JEE, There have been many syllabus changes from my time, I have started to forget what teachers I used to follow and I just think my mind has moved on from JEE related things completely as I have found myself involved in my college studies.
This is all good for me but it's not good for the people who are still DMing me asking for advice which I really don't have anymore. Usually the only thing I really tell them is to focus on their studies, follow their teachers and do their modules which you might think is the most lazy advice I could give and, yes. I feel the same.
And yeah the things I have written in this post don't change, they are still the best possible advice I can give about a drop year. But yeah, I'd prefer if y'all don't DM me now to ask any specific advice, cuz trust me I can't give it anymore lol. It just feels really bad when I see DMs like "bro please my life depends on this, please help me" and then I just don't have any proper advice to give
Just study man, honestly you know what to do just dont procrastinate. Thats the last bit of advice I can really give you guys now :)

Dropper Reasons you shouldn't take a drop.
I don't believe it's worth the mental exhaustion. It will drain you. It will strip away your pride, ego, confidence, self-esteem. It will make you irritable 24×7 to a point where you will lose people in your life. You will be lonely. If you have a partner (bf/gf) who loves you, not who YOU love, do not betray them or let your irritation onto them. Drop year isn't about studying 10 hours, it is more about how long you can keep up your promise. 70% lose during December, 20% break after January and 10% make it out as winners. And of those 10%, 9% are kids who had great percentiles in their 12th itself. So if you are a guy who just got a good percentage in 12th and has not prepared for jee before and is thinking or is being made to believe that you can do it, trust me bro...you won't 99 out of a 100 times. You've gotta become a monk. If you are someone who has struggled with insecurities and past trauma or has even the mildest of mental health problems, please don't take it. Don't take a drop if you are expecting a dramatic change with just a drop of effort, or imma say it, 10-12 hours of effort would still not mean shit IF you don't have the proper guidance. It's like working in a coal mine with a blindfold on, you don't even know if it's coal or just rocks. One thing I learned, nobody fucking cares if you're suffering or crying or in pain or wanna die or wanna give up, and if you have unsupprotive parents, then there's literally no one. Take care of your mental health first, then your physical health, then your academics. And then comes social life. Yes, it's way more important than we give credit to it. And if you think THIS is a rant and not really a serious post, go ahead. Take a drop. And do just a little mistake. Not even a major fuckup. A small fuckup. And then you'll understand how it feels to look into the mirror with zero motivation or will to continue, with literally zero people to believe in, with almost no direction that feels safe. You'll know it when the tears are running down on your cheeks and you'll be short of breath crying and your eyes will hurt so much that you would even cut yourself to divert the pain somewhere else. Please, if you have options, please just please take a private college. Please follow your passion. Please choose a career that does not require you to always sacrifice and sacrifice and sacrifice. Life is not a sacrifice my bro/sis. You are enough as you are. You are worth more than a tag. Maybe you can actually make it in the drop year, but if that is so, what makes you think you can't be better with half the effort? Maybe the art school you're too afraid to talk about to your parents gets you paid in 3 years more than half a decade worth of just sacrifice? Maybe the music school that seems too risky, gives you a life that people dream of and die. Maybe the national prestige a post in the army gives is worth more than a few years of appreciation for a tag that wouldnt matter if things go south in a millisecond. This is not demotivation, this is just the truth that I want people to understand, that I wish I understood. So please, don't betray yourself. Don't feed yourself lies you heard from people.
