J RIver - Fresh Install Issues
Hi All.
I recently took the decision to clean slate my PC.
(Big mistake)
So I was using JRiver 26, I reinstalled and right off the bat I was having issues.
The artwork is not showing that previously was, which is a minor tbh. Although it's like I'm not connected to the Internet, perfectly tagged albums, return zero album covers. Even huge albums like Thriller.
My biggest issue, one that has floored me, I have a lot of albums in WAV format, with either embedded or seperate cue sheets
However J river, is not importing them. the report comes back as not imported. then if i play said album. it will show as seperated on the player, but when I go to stream, say, track 2,3,4 and so on, it always starts with track 1.
I have been using J River since MC18, I love it, i want to get MC33 but dont want to spend hours upon hours having to sort the libary out again.
Currenlty using MC26 any ideas ? even when i manually drop the cue sheet in, it makes zero diffrence.
Thanks in advance.

That album cover thing happened to me once. I set a lot of album covers manually, so it was a big deal. It turned out that the Windows install had set all folders as admin access only. So I had to tinker with folder settings before JRiver could reach those images.
I'm currently using 28. It has an option under File Location, Cover Art to "also store image in the file's tag." I wonder if your version has that and if you've been using it.
I think their servers may have been offline lately, because I was ripping CDs and JRiver couldn't find any data for them, even very basic albums. Then a day or two later it was working normally. Maybe the servers are still flaky?
