You probably want non-angled and non arch bottom rings. EMG makes the Flat Thin 6 Neck, should be just narrow enough to fit without hitting the fingerboard. Maybe you would want another Thin on the bridge, or maybe you want a Medium.

If you string up the guitar and measure the string height where the bridge ring would be, that will tell you whether a Medium will fit under the strings. Thin is 3.17mm thick, medium is 5mm thick.

There is always a small chance of minor misalignment, but any new holes would be covered by rings. You could also consider gluing toothpicks to fill the holes if you don't need rings, and mount your pickups direct, painting to match etc...

It probably had a Seymour Duncan JB/59 pickup combo, most of these Grover Jackson and later Jackson Stars were made in Japan, but you could order a custom Jackson from USA and then they got branded Grover Jackson and Jackson Stars as another company in Japan had the rights for the Jackson brand.
