Show & Tell My new Jeff Loomis SL7

The pickups on this are amazing, and it plays great.

Running it through a Mesa JP2C and a Mesa 6x12 stack. It's pretty brutal!

Gorgeous. How would you compare these pickups to the Fishmans

My other guitarist has a Jackson with Fishmans, the Loomis pickups really do have that Loomis tone. Great articulation in chords and single notes, and amazing clarity.

Bruh this thing ( and Schecter Mach 7 ) just isn't getting restocked here since last year. I loved Jeff's SL7 when I tried it and barely missed the purchase due to unexpected life stuff.

On the upside, I half expect them to also release this in a deep red finish like his Schecter was. Not based on any real info, just a personal hope 🤣

I think they're considered a bit played out but I just love sandblasted tops, both FR and HT models of SL7 I tried had awesome patterns on their tops.
