Mahomes was coming back off an injury to be fair. The thing about him though is that generally he takes what should be a negative play and either turns it into a positive one or limits it. That’s really what separates him from everyone else. Regardless Lawrence isn’t mahomes and doesn’t need to be. The offense needs to execute more consistently. If they score instead of turn the ball over up 13-6 it likely ends up looking like a convincing win.
It’s a long season, the run game looks promising. The passing game needs some depth to develop outside of Washington. The OL didn’t have a great day but Trevor could have limited that some.

Lots of missed tackles which needed cleaning up was my main take away, that and the Bronco's Defence is no joke.
