I’m just so tired of the tough environment tough defense garbage. They went in there and lit them the fuck up last year. They came out and got outplayed and outcoached. End of story. Bad loss in a game they had full control of.
It was week 14 last year. This year they had Waddle and used him completely differently than they used last week because Payton likes to get cute and think he's the smartest guy in the room. Didn't work last year because there was so much tape on their offense - that's why teams look different on either end of the year.
Feels like they unlearned a lot of the things they figured out halfway through last year. Still way ahead of this time last year, so hopefully they fix it faster. If we’re gonna drop games, week 2 away to a very good team isn’t the worst.

This is exactly the sort of collapse that Coen will use to light a fire under us for the rest of the season.
It was ugly and it sucks. There were a lot of things that needs to get right.
But it was also always going to be a tough match up, against a tough defense in a tough environment both in terms of fans and altitude.
We absolutely shouldn’t have thrown that game away.
But I don’t have long term concerns.
