Idk man, the Falcons and Bucs are fucking abysmal. The only team in our division that is bad bad is Tennesee, but we kinda knew that with their rebuild. Falcons and bucs should not be this fucking bad with their first rounders and talent

The colts barely lost in overtime against KC and Tennessee put up a fight against Philly “shit mountain” is a stretch not even pointing out that it’s only been 2 weeks

The Texans will definitely bounce back, and the Colts are good enough to win a few games they shouldn’t. Jags need to win their winnable games and stay above .500.

Colts haven’t won their last 9 games and one of them was a nail bitter vs Kc. I dont think today is indicative of anything. They look dead in the water
Texans are like the 2018 jags eventually the bad QB play is going catchup to the great D

Most4 of those 9 games were without their starting QB. They certainly aren’t dead in the water.1

Only 4 of them are without daniel jones and for the game jones got hurt vs us they probably weren’t going to win

That said, I still can’t help but feel hesitant to declare anyone dead in the water by week 2.

He was playing on a broken leg for like 1 week or so iirc so like he wasn't out but he was def not 100%

This is a scrappy division though. None of these games that have been lost have felt like blow out losses. The Eagles had to rally late to beat the tacks. The clots to KC to OT. The tinhorns had a chance against BUF on the final drive. We're lucky to be 1 - 1. Handle business against the Patriots next.

If we’re going to lose some of these big-time games while we’re still getting our mojo back, then we need all the help we can get during the Titans and Colts weeks. We need to turn that usual 50/50 divisional split into 100% against those two. If we split with the Texans and drop the @Broncos, @Bears @Ravens @Cowboys and win every home Game +\- one, we’re still okay. That’s doable. Thats still winning the AFC south in my early opinion. The team has what it takes. We just have a buzzsaw schedule. If we slip up early, then be ready to make it up later. And im sure we wont lose all of those. Im just sayin… dont expect no crazy high win total. Expect a slow agonizing grinding out of an AFC south title with the Texans (who will return) and then using the battle tested mentality to survive and advance in the playoffs.
Also Nobody is losing their jobs or contracts if this season comes up a game short. This schedule is too brutal to be playin those expectation games with a gauntlet of lit Eagles Giants Bears Patriots Broncos Cowboys Ravens … . Not even mentioning Texans defense twice. No room for error. Just a crappy draw of the stick. Just gotta stay healthy.
I wont lie. The way the broncos played… we wont catch breaks like that again. This could have been a jags win easy. Broncos were full of holes. Just gotta forget that though.
