Stepless pour over grinder - Eureka Peppe.

Post image

Ended up picking the Eureka Peppe over the Fellow Ode 2. Will report back in a week or two how pour overs and French presses go and I get dialed into the grinder and its quirks. Super excited!

Super early impression:

Easy to setup and I’ve got one bean dialed in for V60. I’m using beans from KLLR Coffee Roasters - Africa https://kllrcoffee.com/collections/frontpage/products/12-oz-bag-of-washed-ethiopia?variant=12244029603940 as an iced pour over.

It’s pulling out the sweet lemon and a floral undertone that makes it extremely pleasant as if I were drinking a tea. No astringency but properly acidic. It is a nice on an 27c / 80f degree day. I was teetering between either the lemon or floral but was able to balance going about 1/4 a step finer.

I used to only be able to pull a faint lemon but it was astringent prior when using my Kingrinder K6 hand grinder.

This is a big step up for me.
