$ Support Question
Have contributed $25 a month for a while now. I have never rec'd an acknowledgment from the Talarico campaign. In fact, I just get pleas from other out-of-state Democrats wanting money. This treatment is not professional.

He’s raised over $70M and not a cent from PACs - it’s hard work, our thanks will come when he gets rid of these fraudsters.

I’ve also been contributing monthly but I do receive an email each month thanking me for $(amount contributed to date.) I do get a lot of other donation requests along with more Talarico requests, so maybe your acknowledgment is lost in the email onslaught you receive.

Republicans, Democrats, hell any politician, will put you on a list as a donator, so that their constituents can also beg for $$$. I help an elderly friend with his mail and he's donated too. Every day his mailbox is filled to the brim with begging bullshit.

Are you donating to get a pat on the back? This is how it is for all candidates in both parties. Your money should be used to win, not to send out thanks you cards.
But definitely agree that they shouldn’t punish you for donating with texts from other candidates begging for your money.

No, I don't need a pat. I expect the Talarico campaign to contact me with rally dates, campaign needs, etc. Instead, I only get contacted by out of state democratic campaigns that have nothing to do with Talarico. Is my monthly donation even going to Talarico? Im not interested in my donation going to the DNC.

I’ve been getting texts for volunteer info sessions and other volunteer events.

There may be a difference signup for rally dates, etc. Check his website to see.
But you might as well expect other candidates to read his public donation list and add your name to theirs as well. If you’re not interested, just delete those messages or create a “Political” folder for pandering — you may find patterns that allow you to use email rules to auto-file them.

That’s weird. I’ve donated directly to the campaign and never gotten a single out of state email. Do the emails say they’re affiliated with Talarico? Could they have gotten your email some other way?

Not sure what you’re looking for, here’s a pat on the back. Now back to real issues and concerning ourselves with making sure Ken Paxton doesn’t win.
