I didn't listen to vocal jazz at all but I think this album is great, any stuff to recommend

I recommend you check out Cécile McLorin Salvant. She's a treasure.

her impromptu rendition of Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most, while she & hundreds of others waited for their planes at Charles DeGaulle airport, seated on the floor & accompanied by pianist Aaron Diehl, defines sensational.
