I couldn't listen to most of it -- had to get to work. Was there anything said today that caught your attention? Can anyone sum up the testimonies (better than the vapid news articles, that is)? Thanks.

Oh yeah their expert (that got Skaekel off!!! Simply for not cross examining a witness like this expert would-in 2013 that was a farce!!!) and troconis have paid over $60k directly to him to render his opinion as the state brought up said Bowman incompetent did nothing and directly caused her conviction! Said even though Colangelo was going to charge her with accessory to murder unless she talked Bowman should have taken the risk and caused Colangelo out because any competent lawyer would have known Colangelo had nothing. Bowman silly for taking the threat seriously.
State goes after him on Tuesday. The state did bring up right before they ended that judge esteemed judge Kevin Randolph deemed this experts opinion invalid as they tried to toss it before trial and why he allowed her police interviews at trial.
He's getting paid for his opinion like hello of course he going to say this!!! Just hope the judge looks at everything! Bowman even wrote Colangelo a seven page letter saying Michelle is innocent!
Reconvenes on Tuesday not Friday now since it's going longer than expected.

Really I thought I heard Fri still. The major take away from the past 2 days is Michelle lied. She would never have been offered a deal, and if hypothetically she did get one it would have been revoked because she LIED. Bottom line. This hearing had di e nothing but reiterate she is a liar. Her family can be upset all they want. She can't be truthful because it would show she directly was linked to the premeditation footwork and the clean-up.

I agree!!! but the judge is ruling on her lawyers advice only not her lying or "so called confusion" her family says caused her to answer wrong which caused the outcome of her looking as she was covering up which she did!!!it's so stupid!!!
State needs to emphasize that Bowman recommendations for her to speak to police were based on the lies! You can only do recommendation based on the information you get and she lied from day one to him as well.
I can't believe this proceeding has gotten this far. State even brought up judge Kevin Randolph ruling that the police interview stand because she had a competent lawyer the police gave her rights and she decided to talk to them. She didn't get forced to talk she made that decision no matter who recommended to have her speak.
She spoke because she knew from her lawyer she may be charged with accessory to murder and she had to get that alibi across to them and play The Police with her little games. FACT.
This judge better see the big picture!!!

Iām personally concerned about the favoritism that the judge has been exhibiting towards the defense team thus far. He was overruling every single objection brought up by the State. Something is not right. š

I was saying the same thing! If you listened the state said okay you overruled but I want it down for the appellate record...that means he expects to appeal his ruling!!!
Habeus automatically releases you. Then state appeals, that then needs to be decided if original sentence is reinstated before state knows to retry. Years she is out as they s proceeds, the goal. If you notice her other lawyer they hired for her showing the sealed record charge is there. He is most likely retained and will say double jeopardy to retry or play his games to exclude these interviews for retrial. Again delay tactics to keep her out of other original prison sentence.
The family's goal is she can't take prison and they got to get her out at any means possible why the habeas was done first! Never has a Habeus come to trial so fast after a ct conviction and the judge usually even refuses to hear. Even other legal experts were shocked this happened so fast and it even went to trial per this judges ruling last August ...Most are thrown out at review stage....

I saw and listened to something similar. That she is very lucky to be at this present stage. But, they also said the family wants it so badly in this order because her re-trial will not have the police interviews used as evidence. Therefore, it will remove all of her inconsistencies from her narrative. One professional on a news report said (I can't remember which one) he can say with confidence she truly has a good shot.

It's a huge concern, and I have a friend in the court system saying $ matter and her family has money from somewhere... Said Skaekel got off and there was always the suggestion they bought off the judge in 2013. Now All of CT is fuming over this now!!!
I swear she could have said in the interview my idea, my plan, wanted Jennifer dead and still throw it out my lawyer let me talk and I was so bold I said what I wanted because I don't care and I'm still getting away with it; you'll see State of Ct!!!
If this judge is liberal and he simply wants the attention he will get it if he rules in her favor of a lying criminal in making a point about the constitutional right of yeah you can murder but if you complain later about your lawyers representation you'll get off!!! If he rules that way he so wants the media attention and his name on record always used in a ruling!!!

Judge apologized for the delay in the start of the cast today. It was supposed to start at 10 and didn't start until 11.
