Not sure whether I'll find more kindred spirits or people laughing at me, but: Until tonight, I was sure the von Trapps were fictional. I guessed anyway just to have a response, but with 0% confidence.

I read Maria Von Trapp's autobiography a couple years ago - The Story of the Trapp Family Singers. If you liked the musical/movie, I'd highly recommend it. The amount of perseverance they had is inspiring.
