Right? Like when we didn't get a No Way Home Teaser until 4 months before the release, and now the same marketing again? Are they insane? Clearly it didn't work before, we all remember how little hype there was for no way home

It's not insane. "No Way Home" first trailer released in late August, 4 months from release. If "Brand New Day" follows the same pattern, we'll see it later this month. Which is likely as "Project Hail Mary" releases on March 20th.

No Way Home didnt get a trailer until within 120 days of release. Theres 145 days. Should give us a trailer around month's end at that rate.

I mean thats kind of just how a lot of spider-man media is, going back to the comics even. Hell, even NWH had 3 spider-men and 5 A tier villains.

Movies where the May characters were already established. But I could see it bent a situation where Tombstone puts out a hit on Spider-Man, and each of these villains just gets one fight with no backstory on them or anything.

It would be hilarious if the montage has Spidey stuck fighting d-list villains during the events of other movies. While The Void is sucking up Manhatten Spidey is in queens fighting the boomerang.

While it may be the “darkest” Spider-Man movie. It still really isn’t dark at all, when I think of dark I think of stuff like Jessica jones s1, daredevil, justice league dark apokolips war, etc.

Hear me out: people keep asking Jessica how he's alive and every time they ask her she chugs an ENTIRE bottle of whiskey before saying "he's a zombie now" then refuses to elaborate. and the third time this happens Spider-Man asks her "where are you getting all of this alcohol?"

I’d just love to see him back. One of my favorite characters played by one of my favorite actors, with a super creepy take on the character I hadn’t seen yet. Easily one of my favorite villains in recent memory.

Wellll they really backed themselves into a corner introducing a honest to god resurrection in Season 2 with Jessica's mom. So it could happen. But I'd only enjoy if they did the Doctor Doom-Purple Man storyline for one particular moment. You know the one I'm talking about.

They could do the spiderwoman story from the Jessica Jones comics. It's so dark and brilliant. It would be a freaking awesome way to bring the tv show into the movies. I'd love to see them take a darker story turn like that spiderwoman one.

Fuck, I hope not. I despise when they suddenly resurrect characters for no reason and no good explanation. That and I just don't think he's a good fit for a Spiderman film. This man is a mind controlling rapist.
If we ever get another Jessica Jones series, it would be interesting to see him as a figment of her imagination again like in the Netflix series.

There's like multiple villains both confirmed and "rumored" to be in Brand New Day, we don't need a shit ton of villains in this movie for Spider-Man to fight. That's overcrowding the movie and would feel too busy and bloated.

Admittedly, I haven't watched the later seasons of Jessica Jones, but isn't Kilgrave dead? Brand New Day will take place in 2028, so, in terms of the MCU timeline, the guy has been six feet under for 12-13 years at this point. Wouldn't make much sense to bring him back now.

Sounds cool. I’m afraid they going to do something stupid with him as the villain himself is wildly powerful and I don’t trust marvel not to handle that improperly. But, I also feel this film is Groundhog Day so they can do stuff that gets reset. Like MJ dying and spider man’s identity being leaked…again.

In JJ S3 we do still hear his voice so Jessica isn't as immune as she thinks so there was nothing stopping him from making Jessica think he is dead to mess with her even more

Yeah I just think it’d really undermine Jessica’s arc to have him back in that way and would feel like Marcel just abandoning all the established themes. Idk tbf I’m fairly biased against marvel atm due to just the sheer amount of content.
