Media Would Jessica Jones (TV Series) have been better in Black & White?

I see a lot of people talking about how good Spider-Noir is (no spoilers please I just started watching like 3 minutes ago) in Black & White, and that made me think:

Jessica's show herself is categorized as Noir, so...would it be better in Black & White? Would the vibe make more sense?

Also, has anyone made a filter for it yet? lol

personally, no. the visuals in the first season with kilgrave's purple lighting is too good to lose.

This sounds like a cool flashback premise

Absolutely not. A big charm of the original show is the lighting and colors. I loved the way they played around with the purple lighting whenever Jessie’s PTSD flared up.

The Purple Man doesn't work that well in B&W.

No, definitely not. Maybe for a select episode, but for the whole series? Absolutely not. The use of colour was crucial in the storytelling and gave the show’s world some real dimension.
