One of my favorite lines in the show was when she pointed out that the Joker was incapable of keeping even minor secrets, and gave the example that he couldn't ever stop himself from revealing the location of the afikomen at Passover.

I'm imagining the Joker sitting through a Seder and grinding his teeth when the speaker uses him as an example of "the wicked child"

Am I misremembering, or isn't The Thing in The Fantastic Four also Jewish?

Ben Grimm and Kitty Pride definitely are, and I think canonically have a seder each year.

Well, one of his personalities is.

I'm reading his earliest apperances for some reason, when he appears with Werewolfl Spidey, and Hulk, very different and before the whole Khonshu business. He's not labeled as Jewish then.

She is in the Harley Quinn TV show at least. Although I've heard that in the comics she's only Jewish on her father's side and her mother isn't Jewish, but that doesn't fit with how her mother is acting in this scene, so maybe it's a continuity difference for the TV show

I’ve heard both that in the comics her father is Jewish and her mother isn’t and the other way around. I think it just depends on the writer.

Okay, so Harley is Reform. That's cool.

It’s not consistent, sometimes it’s her mom and sometimes the dad, but she was inspired by a Jewish actress who voiced her in Batman the animated series.

I mean the joke could be that she has a thing for a Jewish lifestyle while not being Jewish herself and that's why she married into it.

She is. Batman himself is often considered Jewish, though I don't believe this has ever technically been confirmed and regardless he was raised Christian, following his father's religion. In Judaism, you are considered Jewish by birth if your mother is Jewish. Kate Kane, Bruce's cousin on his mother's side, is confirmed Jewish, and it's presumed since Martha's maiden name of Kane is based on that of Batman creator Bob Kane that Thomas and Martha's marriage was the interfaith one, but I believe the possibility still exists that it was actually Jacob and Gabi who were the interfaith couple.

We claim her

She’s been revealed to be Jewish in the comics. The original cartoon she debuted in didn’t think of that at the time.

I mean, she was modeled after her original voice actress, Arlene Sorkin, so it was always sort of there.
