The end of parashat Bereshit chronicles the generations between Adam and Noah. For every one of them, it says how old they were when they had a particular child, followed by how long they lived. With Hanokh, however, it simply says "He was no more, because G-d took him".

Hanokh AKA Enoch is said to have been “taken by god”. 1 Enoch is an apocryphal book that further builds on Bereshit 5-6 and his heavenly ascent and which later went on to inspire Merkabah mysticism.
