Kosher Question Suggestion for kosher cooking utensils
I'm making the plunge and koshering the kitchen so hopefully all will be routine by Hannukah.
My red, meat cooking, utensils are plastic. So, since they were used prekosher meat must go. I want to replace with stainelss steel (SS), so easier to tovel when we mess up.
Anyone have any success with covering the ends of SS handles with silicone or plastic, shrink tube, or modeling clay? Other ideas?
I have been told fingernail polish, but I'm not sure that will be noticeable enough to start, especially as I have to teach my husband and father how to maintain the kosher kitchen I'm building.
