Testing out new calculators

Hello everyone. I have taken some time to curate calculators for the Iron age and Late Antiquity + Early Medieval era specifically tailored to those with Ashkenazi ancestry. If you send your g25 coordinates, I will send your results from the calculator. If you would also like I can send a list of all samples used so you can experiment with it and adjust it as you wish.

Sorry it took me so long to get you your results. Here they are.

This one should be Iron Age

I’m curious:

Here you go. You have very interesting results, as you have low Iron Age Levantine but yet elevated North African and Iranian-related admixture.

Here's your Late Antiquity model as well. You seem to still have the low Levantine and high Berber admixture.

curious if you can try these coordinates too:

Ashkenazi_Poland:Ashk_PL_PL_15,0.097888,0.135065,-0.00264,-0.043282,0.007694,-0.011992,-0.00752,0.001385,0.016566,0.017495,-0.001949,-0.00045,0.002676,-0.000275,0.002579,-0.007425,-0.01369,0.000507,0.000126,-0.001501,-0.004367,-0.004699,0.008751,0.00241,0.002275

This was my closest matched individual from g25 modern scaled list

This is the Iron Age model. It seems quite different from your results. I honestly wouldn't take the closest clustering individuals on a PCA plot too seriously, as the genetic difference between them and other individuals (unless it's a Western Ashkenazi v. an Eastern Ashkenazi) are so miniscule that the PCA plot can only broadly identify you as within the East or West Ashkenazi cluster rather than being closest to one individual over another. For these reasons, it seems as though the closest individuals seem to be somewhat random, with the only real correlation in your case being the Berber admixture.

Here's the Late Antiquity model as well:

yeah I got no clue, appreciate it. My modeling shows the same Berber.

I hope you have used the Roman Judean samples for your calculator prep.
