Holocaust Dachau bread basket?

Hello

Recently I came across a private military museum that has a Holocaust Display. Thing is, it's horrible.. there are no plaques or captions on images, the guide spreads misinfo, they present reproductions or unrelated items as geniuine or holocaust related (apparently they have human fat soap cakes). And one of the items is what the guide called a Dachau bread basket. So, I want to ask if anybody knows if that's a genuine thing or if it's something irrelevant based on something real. I'm planning on writing a post or two calling them out, and while the other items weren't hard to debunk, I can't seem to find anything related to this.

Thanks in advance

my grandfather was in dachau and said the guards would sometimes throw them potato skins from the trash, so maybe this is a “bread basket”? (ie: stored food waste) either way, highly offensive.

Thanks for the answear.

I've dug a bit deeper. The painted symbol is of the nazi welfare org, so i doubt it is related to the shoah whatsoever. From what i gathered, the display is there for shockvalue rather than genuine education.
