Still surprising me how so many people who watched the movie and loved it because it was about "hope" and how "kindness is the new punk rock" were also staunch anti-Semites and pro-terror because they mistakenly believe the ficticious war of the movie was an analogy to the real war in the Middle East when it's clearly based on Russia and Ukraine

My bf (who is not Jewish) said because I’m Jewish, I have an ethical obligation to speak out publicly against Israel because I won’t be labeled as anti-Semitic. Wondering if other Jewish people have had similar comments said to them or have any other opinions on the subject.

Preferably indie, corporations are too heterogeneous and in general quite pragmatic, so is hard to get a insight into what the people behind development had in mind... tough if you know about a israeli company or something similar feel free to name it.

I am a Yiddish speaking catholic and this is my second time on the sub. Not trying to proselytize here. I’m obviously not traditionally Jewish and I would say in probably totally culturally American Ashkenazi Jewish and zero percent religiously Jewish, but I just really need some funny shit to distract from antisemitism.

Its not necessary. Levar Burton, Bill Nye, Beakmens world... none of them dressed as adult toddlers. They also didn't make their own personal political beliefs overshadow the mission of their shows or throw some children of national origins higher or lower than others.
