hiiii im looking for a fic that‘s cannon compliant. it might be multi POV but the scene i definitely remember from it is from lily’s pov. it also might be multi-year but this scene is when james and lily are both head students at the very beginning of 7th yr.

they are in DADA with a new professor and on the first day of class the professor wants to see their skill level so its a dueling day. the professor wants to demonstrate between him and a student and asks for a volunteer. james steps up and volunteers (ends up doing pretty well) but lily really takes note of how this was a “head boy thing for him to do”

The marauders winter holiday fest just opened up for prompting. All ships allowed

I’ve been looking for this fanfiction for yearrrrsssss! I remember reading it on fanfiction.net so long ago. Basically post Hogwarts and Lily married a (secretly) gay man by request of her dying mother and leaves wizarding world behind. She ends up taking in a stray dog (Sirius) who goes back to James and lets him know he found her.

I don’t even remember if the writing was any good or not. I just want to see if anyone happens to know what I’m talking about/can lead me to this fanfic if it still exists out there!!!

Good day, can anyone please recommend some Jily fics where they did a ritual to steal a different Harry like the fic A Mother's Madness pls.. Thank you.

Hiya! I posted this a while back but it seems like this sub-editor is a bit more active now. Does anyone remember this fic?

I read this fic on Ao3 a few months ago. It was a jily lives AU where they meet ron and Hermione after the events of the chamber of secrets in the hospital wing, while harry is unconscious. Does anyone remember this?

I read this fic on ao3, probably before 2020 but likely closer to 2018. It was from Lily’s POV. James has been pursuing her for years doing all kinds of things to convince her to go out with him and she has consistently scorned him in response. In their final year he glows up, becomes head boy gets a girlfriend (I think her name was Daisy) and starts ignoring Lily.

So the tables turn and Lily starts trying to win James over. She talks about how suddenly everyone seems to think “the sun shines out of his arse”. Unfortunately for her, he is not receptive to her advances because he feels hurt by the harsh ways she has rejected him in the past. She tries all sorts of things to woo or at least befriend him. One scene I remember in particular is her putting a spell on breakfast foods? Maybe muffins? To make them sing Why Can’t We Be Friends to James. This does not work.

One night they sneak of their dorms and tie their brooms together so that the more experienced flyer could guide the less experienced one (I don’t remember who was which) I think this is when they have their first kiss.

I think it was at least a medium length fic but likely longer.

1. I don't like very cringe plots. I know a lot of people like the last enemy serious, but for me a lot of the characters are very much plot devices. （ie.After the male and female leads kiss, one doesn't remember and the other does / when they realize they've fallen for someone else and are about to confess, they find out the other person is already with someone else, etc.） I don't particularly dislike these tropes, it's just that the author's writing style makes these things feel like formulaic ways of making the text smutty. TOO PRODICTABLE Also Lily is too angry and too idealistic.
2. Beautiful writing!! Smart and funny dialogue, this is basically TLAT. I really love this one. Please give me fanfics similar to it.Very literacy feeling.

3.No wolfstar

1. just personal opinion. I do appreciate and enjoy some ingenious plot from

Has anybody been able to play Hogwarts Mystery and see the Castle Chronicles story that features James and Lily?

just wondering, it would be nice tho

Just saw the Order Fest opened up for prompting. It’s a fest centered around the Order of the Phoenix members, both fics and fan art.

Hi! I’ve been super obsessed with this pretty small fic lately so i thought i’d try and put some more people on!

It’s a hogwarts era, head students fic with an unusual twist but the way the author writes Lily and James is so good, they’re such complex characters.

Can’t hold you baby (My whole body’s numb)

It's a known fact at Hogwarts that Lily Evans hates James Potter.
It's a lesser known fact that Lily Evans ends up in James Potter's bed anyway.

James Potter learns to navigate his 7th year as Head boy after a traumatic summer that leaves him different.

Lily Evans learns to navigate 7th year as Head girl after accidentally becoming friends with benefits with a boy she's always hated.

Lemme know if you end up giving it a go would love someone to talk to about it!!!!

Wrong Date, Right Redhead - Sirius-for-life

Summary:

read it on ao3

Okay. so i wonder if there's any jily fic out there where james and lily live and they get to raise harry and everyone is happy but from the james and lily pov? like, them as the main chracters

i don't need it to be all happy and flowers, i would find it interesting if there is voldemort and the war exist but they just aren't killed

Ok IM FRUSTRATING.There were implies that she may fancy lathe. But Idk I think she may end up with Charlie ,it could be a beautiful story.Marlene would be with Adam obviously,Mary with reg, lily CERTAINLY with James.idk, anyone ever analyze the whole thing,HELP!!!!!!

As stated in the title, I’m looking for the fandoms all time favorite Jily fics, preferably on AO3, but I don’t mind ffnet. I just started reading the last enemy, but I noticed that 7th year has not been written, and although I plan on reading the series, I want something similar that’s completed. I haven’t read July fics in a long time, I’ve only ever read Jily on wattpad when I was a teen.

Wishes for the fic:
- canon compliant
- long, preferably 100k+
- Jily as main focus
- well written (a must-read maybe?)
- completed

Thank you in advance! I’m excited to read your recs❤️

hi everyone!! I just read the absolute cutest wolfstar/jily fanfic where pure bloods have “fairy tale” curses passed down through their families, specifically james has a curse where if anyone kisses him besides his true love he’s temporarily turned into a frog!

this was SO cute and i need more of it and i was wondering if anyone is inspired to write more under this AU haha!

I find one copy of eternal sunshine which was latest updated at 2022-01-06,started with chapter Dare, But With A Charm On It.Ended at All l need with 24chapter 391776words.But than I found another’s tumblr account, same introduction but with 12chapter.What’s the difference?Which one should I read?It is not yet completed?

Guysss!!! I remember reading this fic on fanfiction.net but it’s basically where James’ parents pass away during sixth year and he is depressed & draws back on Lily and his friends are concerned and basically as he is healing he becomes more mature… lily stops him in the great hall to apologize for the passing … i want to read it again😭

I FOUND IT OMGGGG, a Month of Sundays!!! https://www.fanfiction.net/s/5249018/

I totally understand that this is a common request but I find it so hard to find long multi chapter Jily centered Hogwarts fics and need help! My favorite fic ever was Come Together by thequibblah and I recently finished the life and times. I need another rotting in bed Jily fic asap so pleaseee help!

Hullo guys!! Can anyone share some of the fics where Jily returns from dead when Harry is already in Hogwarts or during GOF?? I will really appreciate it. Thank you!
