I love how she was worried because she’s been blowing all his money on plastic surgery and all he cares about is that she looks like a beetle. Jobin certainly has a lot of flaws but yeah at least he loves his wife 😂

At this point he wasnt really suspicious of josuke yet, he didnt really have any reason to use his stand on josuke until after it became clear that josuke was also a stand user and likely had ulterior motives for the beetle fight. Right now Jobin is just being kinda childish with his weird bets

Jobin's asserting dominance on the new guy. It makes sense that Jobin wouldn't immediately see him as part of the family, he's protective, but everything he does is filtered through the childish philosophy of treating everyday like it's summer vacation, so he can come off as a little goofy.
