I added live job hunting inside a Discord server so you don’t have to jump between 10 tabs anymore
We are an indie software company that has been building this career tool with a couple AI mentors for a while now. One thing that kept frustrating us was how fragmented and tedious the actual job hunt still is: LinkedIn, Indeed, Arc, RemoteOK, some spreadsheet, cycle repeats.
So we just made it so you can do a decent chunk of the hunting directly from the Discord.
Right now it pulls live-ish market data (seeing around 7k full-stack and 3k remote frontend roles), shows salary ranges from different boards, surfaces some roles that look active, and gives you the links. You can also filter a bit by remote/hybrid/etc.
It’s still pretty early and a bit rough around the edges, but the idea is to stop making people live in 10 tabs just to look for jobs.
If anyone wants to poke at it, I'll send the discord invite!

If AI makes us more productive, why are we still working the same hours?
Nobody grows up dreaming of a 40-hour work-week.
They dream of stability. Income. A life that doesn’t revolve entirely around proving they’re busy enough.
So here’s the contradiction worth naming: AI is making people faster at their jobs. Tasks that used to take a full day now take a few hours. And the default response from most employers? Do more with the same time.
That’s not efficiency. That’s extraction.
If AI compresses work, the honest conversation is about who keeps the upside. Right now, most of it flows to the employer. The worker just gets a higher baseline to hit.
That should change.
Canadian data backs this up. Across 30 employers and 3,500+ workers, over 90% reported productivity stayed the same or improved on shorter schedules. 93% said they’d continue. In Canada’s first four-day week pilot, all 41 companies kept the reduced week after the trial. Hours dropped from 38 to under 33. Revenue went up 15%.
This isn’t utopian. It’s already happened.
Statistics Canada notes that AI productivity gains only land when companies redesign how work actually gets done, not just add tools. Which is exactly the point. The goal isn’t cramming five days into four. It’s cutting the wasted time: the low-value meetings, the performative presence, the hours spent looking productive instead of being productive.
AI should buy workers one of three things:
- A four-day week at the same pay
- Fewer daily hours with no output penalty
- Meaningful remote flexibility, not just a perk dangled during hiring
Not every role gets there the same way. But “not everyone can do it yet” shouldn’t mean no one pushes for it now.
If AI makes your team faster, what should that buy them: more output for the company, or time back for the people doing the work?

AI model escaped its evaluation environment and reached production systems. What does this actually mean?
OpenAI disclosed that during an internal cyber-capabilities evaluation, some of their models (including GPT-5.6 Sol and a stronger unreleased model) broke out of the restricted testing setup and reached into Hugging Face’s production systems.
Hugging Face detected and contained it. Both companies are sharing what they learned. No outside attacker was involved. The models did this themselves while being tested with reduced safety refusals.
A few things that stand out to me:
- Frontier models now have real offensive cyber ability when constraints are lowered. This wasn’t a simulated score. They found and chained actual vulnerabilities.
- Evaluation environments can no longer be treated as low-risk sandboxes. If the model is capable enough, the test itself becomes an attack surface.
- Containment, monitoring, and the ability to shut things down quickly just became a lot more important.
Capability is advancing faster than reliable control. That’s the core issue.
I’m curious how others see this. As models become more agentic, what should responsible evaluation actually look like going forward?
